CHRISTIAN: โ I want to know about you. I think itโs only fair. (Christian puts his elbows on the arms of the chair and raises his fingers in front of his mouth)
ANA: โ Thereโs not much to know.
CHRISTIAN: โ What are your plans for after graduation?
(Ana shrugs her shoulders)
ANA: โ I didn't make plans, Mr. Grey. I just need to pass my finals.
CHRISTIAN: โ We have an excellent internship program here.
(Anastasia raises her eyebrows)
ANA: โ Oh. Iโll remember that. (She mumbles in confusion) โ Although Iโm not sure Iโd fit in here.
CHRISTIAN: โ Why do you say that? (He tilts his head and has a hint of a smile on his lips)
ANA: โ Itโs obvious, isnโt it?
CHRISTIAN: โ Not for me. (He murmurs)
(Christian looks intensely at Anastasia, who blushes even more and stares at their intertwined fingers. She bends over to pick up the recorder)
CHRISTIAN: โ Would you like me to take you to see the company?
ANA: โ I'm sure you're very busy, Mr. Grey, and I have a long trip ahead of me.
CHRISTIAN: โ Are you driving back to Vancouver? (Christian asks in surprise and even anxiety, looking at the rain through the glass window) โ Well, it would be better to drive carefully. (Christian speaks with an authoritative and stern tone) โ Did you get everything you needed?
ANA: โ Yes, sir. (Anastasia answers by putting the recorder in her backpack)
(Christian's eyes narrow)
ANA: โ Thank you for the interview, Mr. Grey.
CHRISTIAN: โ It was my pleasure. (He says politely)
(They both stand, and Christian extends his hand to Anastasia)
CHRISTIAN: โ Until next time, Miss Steele. (Christian's tone sounds like a challenge)
(Anastasia frowns and extends her hand to shake his)
ANA: โ Mr. Grey. (She makes a head length)

โIt is a twenty-story commercial building, all glass and steel, one of those eccentric architectural projects, with the name GREY HOUSE written discreetly in steel above the glass doors at the entrance.โ
โBehind the white chairs is a large glass-walled conference room with an equally large dark wood table surrounded by at least twenty matching chairs. Beyond the table is a floor-to-ceiling window with views of the city of Seattle.โ
โIn front of the floor-to-ceiling windows is a large, modern table made of dark wood, around which six people could eat comfortably. It matches the small side table next to the sofa. Everything else is whiteโceiling, floor, and wallsโexcept for the wall next to the door, where there is a mosaic made up of small paintings, thirty-six squares making up a square.โ
