This living wall, located at Caxia forum near Atocha, Madrid is a prime example of the shift towards sustainability within Architecture. The mere fact features such as this are now being integrated onto buildings highlights the growing awareness the profession has towards greenery.

This is a staircase and walkway in Carnisselande, The Netherlands on a hilltop overlooking nearby Rotterdam. The Elastic Perspective is an art installation built from rusty Corten steel and inspired by the Möbius strip. But here's the rub: the walkway is just an illusion and you can't actually walk all the way around it, because upside-down becomes right-side up.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle - Design is the answer to changing the material waste that is processed everyday. Through creating products with minimal footprint we can do this. Get creative with the industry like Studio Swine.

La Fábrica (The Factory) - Ricardo Bofill Location: Sant Just Desvern, Espanya What seems to be ruined can have the potential to become something entirely new! Bofill had the insight to reimagine a factory in ruins and design it to become an amazingly unique house.

Bespoke house made entirely of timber, constructed through steam bending to create elegant curves throughout the space.
