Anger. Alain hates being angry to the point he feels sick and would much rather choke it all down than let it be known it's something he could show. He has a long fuse thankfully.

Hard to point something not soft about Alain. His hands would be something as he's not fond of touch even less than Antoine and has a tendency to wear gloves most if the damn time.

When the season permits it: watching the confectioners making their goods before the sun comes up. Candies, pastries. He's intrigued by the craft and it reminds him of being a boy on the mountain. If he arrived early enough, for a small cleaning favor he'd get the first treat of the day.
