i post two types of aesthetic boards - personal and subject related

requesting personal aesthetics:
send me an ask with a bit about you, your favorite areas of study, your hobbies, your favorite colors/niche aesthetics, your MBTI if you’re into that, etc. and i’ll put together a short aesthetic post, catered to your niche in the academia world. take a look at these for a few examples: (1) (2) (3) in general, the more info you provide, the more accurate the final product will turn out.
these are limited to followers, so i won’t be able to accept requests from anon asks. if you want the post to be anonymous, just tell me you’d prefer not to be tagged and i’ll leave that part off.
requesting subject aesthetics
before submitting a request, check my subject aesthetics masterpost to see if the subject you’re looking for has already been posted or requested by someone else. it clutters up my ask box to have several people requesting the same thing!
if you don’t see what you’re looking for in the list, send me an ask with the subject you want to see an aesthetic for. if it’s something i don’t know anything about, i might ask you for a short description of the subject area or a few reasons why it’s meaningful to you.
update: due to a large volume of requests, more specific/niche subjects will be covered in shorter posts. more detail on this update here.
please keep in mind that since i am a student myself i have not studied - let alone majored in - many of these subject areas. although i generally do my own research and do my best to capture the major aspects of a given subject, my aesthetics will often not be accurate to everyone’s experience. additionally, these are idealized versions of the subjects they’re based on, so i do not claim to truthfully represent what it means to study that subject, nor do i mean to minimize the amount of work and stress that goes into intensive study in these areas.
thank you to everyone who has submitted an aesthetic request so far - it’s because of you that this blog is where it is today. reminder not to take any of this aesthetic stuff too seriously, and happy studying!
