According to Margaret J, “There is no power for change greater than a community discovering what it cares about." We exist in a world where our values, traditions, rituals, habits, and practices vary. Despite our differences, we can nevertheless create and maintain peace and harmony by acknowledging each other, assisting one another, and caring and embracing one another. Every one has distinct positions and responsibilities. It may be in some manner related to the communities and environments in which you have grown up. Roles and obligations can take many forms. Being a leader is one example of this. I agree that everyone has the ability to be a leader and that everyone was born to lead. However, if you are determined to be a master, you will be able to explore the possible talent. Everyone has the opportunity, but not everyone is able to use it. As a result, strong leaders are in short supply.

It reflects to me in this lesson that being more linked to friends, family, partners, and others will clear your mind and improve your mood. Working on your relationships, whether with friends, family members, partners, mentors, bosses, or people you're just getting to know, can be helpful to your mental wellbeing. And I was also able to reflect on how, in Teenage relationships, we deal with all of the other changes that occur during adolescence, a physical, social, and mental. And we're connected to our growing interest in body image and appearance, freedom, and privacy. Romantic relationships can cause many emotional ups and downs for us teens and, in some cases, the whole family.

Everyone has a different view of the emotions and feelings we've felt, and sometimes those feelings motivate us to follow the direction we're supposed to take. In our Lesson 8, we learned about the Components of emotions and theories. And understanding emotions is important because emotions can play an important role in how we think and act.  The feelings that we experience every day will cause us to take action and affect the decisions that we make about our lives. And knowing and being mindful of it allows us to decide what we need and what we want. It encourages us to develop stronger relationships. That's because being mindful of our emotions will help us to communicate about thoughts, prevent or overcome problems, and step beyond difficulties.

First of all, this is my favorite Topic among all the lessons learned. During the discussion, I learned a lot and realized a lot of things. Some of them gave me motivation and areas I had to improve, especially in terms of my mental health. We all know that our thinking is so powerful that it affects the way we do things.

Maybe certain factors sometimes trigger my mental health and way of thinking. Because in most cases, I think too much, creating assumptions in my mind that will affect my mentality. But thankfully, because I don't have the worst "mental health", I always stop and move on. Especially, in self-realization, we will do our best and how to connect with people around us, which can stimulate us to have a positive or negative awareness of mental health.

I learned that, It is therefore important to remember that the way we think and interact with systems is influenced by this. Here, the subjects are all connected to the brain, which is the human body's most significant organ that makes us human. This enables us to think, to synthesize, to analyze and to reason.

Taking care of our thoughts will help us to live a safe and good life. It depends on how we efficiently learn a lot of things and make them useful. Moreover, acts and responses can also be managed and organized by the brain, helping us to think and feel, and allowing us to have memories and feelings.

We always encounter stress from school, work, or even at home. As a teen, we experience more stress when we perceive a situation as dangerous, difficult, or painful and we do not have the resources to cope. Most sources of stress us teen encounter include school demands and frustration. Negative thoughts of Feelings about ourselves. Especially in our current situation, we are using online platforms to continue learning but most of us have a disadvantage especially not having a secured Internet connection so which leads to dropouts and it makes us stressed.

❗❗How do I deal with all of this stress:❗❗

1.) Managing my time. When I manage my time it helps me relieve my mind and be organized. It makes me more productive.

2.) Sharing my Problems. When I talked my problems out it makes me feel at ease. It just makes me feel Good.

3.) Laughing. "Laughing is the best medicine". I believe those sayings because for me Laughing makes me forget that my problems exist..

4.) Resting. Even if not having a problem we need to rest because it is the best way to avoid disease and being exhausted.

5.) Moving. Some of us relieved thier stress by traveling and doing something and that's the case for me and for a very long time I can say that Moving around is the best way to forget problems.

6.) Being Positive. A positive mind means a positive life. We should avoid being negative and always had a positive life.

7.) Meditation. Having a clear mind helps us to make a solution to our problems and cope with our stress.

I learned a lot from the discussion. We can all relate to some of the discussions regarding our current situation. We've faced a lot of challenges, because adolescence can be difficult, and we teenage years can be an emotional assault course for all concerned. During adolescence, the gulf can grow between parents and us their children. One of the reasons many of us find it so difficult is that it is a time of rapid physical development and profound emotional change.

In addition, We teenagers had a responsibility as a student and as children at home so living life would never be easy, but it's not impossible to get the life we want, and for me I also had a lot of responsibilities, but my parents and the people's expectations and concepts about me are what motivates me. It's really hard to try it all. And having someone I can open up with really helps me to lift my self up and avoid downfall, especially anxiety and depression. Someone who can help us be physically, emotionally and mentally prepared for the challenges that we face in our lives. It may be the family, a peer, a teacher, or someone who understands us. Sharing can make your problem turn into halves.

📌Adolescent Development

We all experience the adolescents, and that's natural. The change in body and mind is normal because it is for the child to transform itself psychologically and socially into a young adult. Adolescence is the transition period between childhood and adulthood. Children entering adolescence are going through a lot of changes (physical, intellectual, personality and social developmental). Adolescence begins at puberty, which occurs earlier, on average, than in the past.  And we should understand Adolescent development because It helps us understand the changes that us,  children are undergoing and have the right expectations and answers. Even when we are experiencing major problems or taking serious risks, it is important to understand the stage at which we are developing so that you can respond in the most helpful way.

📌Middle & Late Adolescence

The puberty for males and females is completed during the middle adolescence stage. Physical growth slows down for females, but continues for males. Teenagers in late adolescence/young adulthood typically experience less physical development and more cognitive development.In the Middle Adolescence, 14-17 years of age, some develop acne. Physical changes may be almost complete for females, and most girls have regular periods of time. At this age, many teens are interested in romantic and sexual relationships. They are very concerned about their appearance, and peer pressure is likely to peak at this age. In late adolescence, it covers the latter part of adolescent years, generally between the ages of 15 and 19. Major physical changes have usually occurred so far, although the body is still developing. At this stage, however, cognitive development is the main focus.

It's natural to develop our body, our mind, and as a whole. From physical change, cognitive change to socio-emotional change. Each stage of development is characterized by different milestones in the physical, cognitive and socio-emotional domain.There are many factors that affect our personal development, such as holistic development, physiological development, cognitive development, spiritual development, and psychological development. These factors have unique roles to play that help each and every one of us to be a fully developed person.

📌Integration of Thought, Feelings, and Behavior

We have our thoughts that are made of imagination and thinking as we construct concepts, objective or  ideas. We've got emotions to express and feelings to show. And that is what we call mind/body connection which means that your thoughts, beliefs, feelings, and attitudes affect the body either in a positive or negative way. A healthy mind also means having a healthy body.We should know how to take our mind and body and make sure we don't lose ourselves. Good mental health helps us to enjoy life and to cope with problems. It provides a feeling of well-being and inner strength. Just as we take care of our body by eating right and exercising right, we can do things to protect our mental health. In fact, eating right and exercising can help to maintain good mental health.

Getting to know one’s self starts with a self-concept that each one of us sets our own perception, how we define and understand our self. but not all the concept about our self is the actual, some are the opposite. Our actual self is what we are and who we are that we seen right now. But if you know yourself, you’re going to understand that life is really easy and that you are able to control your destiny. Knowing who you are is always more important than knowing what you are. Some people will never get it; their egos won’t let them down.

In addition, You have to be able to see yourself objectively, to know yourself. The “you” that knows you cannot be the same as the “self” that you know. If you know yourself, you know what makes you similar and unique to the other billion people living on this planet. We also have the theory of self-discrepancy, which means the mismatch between your ideal self and the actual self. Having a mismatch is causing us distress. It’s because our actual self has not met the concept of our ideal self. We’ve set our standards and expectations, but once it doesn’t meet it brings discomfort to us so we should be aware. To be aware we should be unbiased and non-judgmental and think differently.

The value of being a literate person of media information is a value that represents our life and how people can see who we are because what we post reflects from our thoughts, feelings and happenings around us and being a literate media information should be practiced not only by individuals, but by all sorts of fields and occupations. As with students, information literacy enables students to recognize inaccurate, out-of-date or fake results. It also enables them navigate through the details and intelligently interpret it. Books are still accessible and a great resource for learners, but the Internet and beyond requires information literacy. It encourages people to display and make informed choices as users of information and media, as well as to become skilled creators and advertisers of information and media communications in their own right. And It keeps us informed and prepared so that we can respond to varying circumstances. In both physical and digital societies, it allows our modern minds to become functional, effective, and professional.
