An Ode To Rp Partners
A special shout out to all the rp friends who have ever written at length with me no matter the character. Whether our characters were friends, enemies or lovers, or just kind of trying to figure each other out. Whether we wrote this month, last month or last year. Maybe it's been a long time. Maybe we don't chat anymore. Thank you for giving me your time, your creative space.
Whether or not our characters had to move on in their stories or from each other. Whether characters died, changed, were moved to new worlds. Whether stories and details had to be rewritten. Whether you as a rper had to take a vacation from your character. Even if you had to hang up the roleplay towel in a more permanent sense. I still cherish you, rp friend.
I think about our stories, and the impact you had on my characters. I hope I left you with the same. Thank you for your inspirations, for exciting times, for the smiles, laughs and tears. Thank you for the art, the lengthy chats about our characters, the brainstorming and plotting, the tagging and memes . Thank you for helping me become a better writer. Thank some of you for helping me be a better person. Most definitely, thank you for helping me become great at typing. I definitely think the long instances of roleplay made me a typing monster.
And if I somehow inspired resentment in some way, I apologize, even if we never get to talk about it. I hope you are doing something you love to do, or found the rp partner that you were looking for. I sincerely hope you have your good health and happiness.
Whoever you are, no matter how long its been, rp friends and partners, I will forever be grateful for the worlds and characters inside you, that you chose to share with me.
