A garbage truck pulls up next to Rachel. The hard hat-wearing driver (Arcade in disguise) sticks his head out of the driver's side window, addressing Rachel with a very fake New York accent. His thoughts are unreadable for some reason. Arcade: "Hey! You're the new Marvel Girl, aren't ya? Keep up the good work, kid!" @arcadeking0fpwn
@arcadeking0fpwn Rachel pauses, frowning, and then tries to smooth her expression. This is disquieting, but it's bizarre rather than overtly hostile, at least for the moment. "Uh... thanks?"
Barely a second goes by before a massive tube extends out of the truck and envelopes Marvel Girl, pulling her into the truck with a loud sflanng. Within a moment, Rachel finds herself inside a holding cell in the truck. She has only scant seconds to get a look around before there is suddenly a sharp hissing sound as nozzles on the walls spray knockout gas into the cell, sedating her. Arcade, watching this unfold from a screen on the dashboard, tips his telepathy-proof hard hat before driving the "garbage truck" away.
The room is empty, aside from Hawkeye. There is a hostage bag over his head, his bow and arrows are gone, and his wrists and ankles are tied to the chair he's sitting in. The only guards are outside of the room and there are multiple points of entry to reach Clint unnoticed. Mockingbird is overqualified for this. @arcadeking0fpwn
They made this way too easy. *slips in through a window and walks over to Hawkeye, taking the bag off of his head.*
The robot clowns climb out of their carnival stands and slowly walk toward Mockingbird. They're aware of her position but they're reloading their tommy guns, giving her a brief chance to disable them before they can open fire again.

They made this way too easy. *slips in through a window and walks over to Hawkeye, taking the bag off of his head.*
Beneath the hostage bag is Hawkeye's signature purple mask, but it's being worn by a mannequin. With a metallic thud, reinforced steel shutters close, cutting off all points of entry or exit and hidden lights turn on, making the tiny room suddenly very well-lit.
*mutters under her breath* that wasn’t supposed to happen.
*gets ready for a fight*
There is suddenly a sharp hissing sound. Knockout gas is now spraying out of the eyes and mouth of the Hawkeye mannequin.
Damn it… *backs up as far as possible from the mannequin and looks around for a different exit*
All exits are blocked by the shutters, which are too think for her gear to break or cut through. Whoever set the trap for Bobbi planned her capture meticulously. The hissing grows louder as the potent knockout gas envelops Mockingbird.
*holds her breath while she tries to find something to cover her mouth and nose. After not being able to hold it for any longer, she passes out.*
The knockout gas leaves Mockingbird blissfully, comfortably, drifting through darkness for hours before an unfamiliar voice wakes her up. Arcade: "Wake up, Mockingbird." Bobbi is lying on a bed in a small room. She's not restrained but her battle staves and communicator are missing. She isn't alone. On the other end of the room are two assassins who have eluded SHIELD for years. Arcade and Miss Locke.
Arcade: "Lookie lookie! We nabbed ourselves a genuine Avenger!" Arcade and Miss Locke high-five each other. Miss Locke: "Before you say anything, no, Moon Knight and Tigra aren't coming. They have no idea where you are. We took care of your communicator while you were under." Arcade waves at the woozy Bobbi. Arcade: "So, how are ya feeling, 'Birdie? Ever expect to be a guest in Murderworld?"
*rolls her eyes* can’t say I have. Where’d you come up with the name anyways? A magazine cover?
Arcade: "Not quite, but you're on the right track!" Arcade approaches Mockingbird without getting too close. Arcade: "You see, my days as an assassin got mighty stale after a while, so Miss Locke and I decided to open up these little carnivals of death. It turns out assassinations are too easy and too boring, but death traps? That's a real thrill." Miss Locke: "AIM sends their regards, Mockingbird. Though those creeps forgot to read the fine print when they put the hit on you." Arcade: "Make it through our traps and you're free as a...mockingbird. Our fee gets cut in half if you live, but it's all we'll need for that yacht we've had our eyes on for a while." Miss Locke smirks. Miss Locke: "We blew up our last yacht."
Of course you did.
Miss Locke: "Anyway, your fighting sticks are in the next room." Arcade: "Go grab 'em when you're ready, 'cause after that, we let the games begin!"
They’re called batons. *stands up and after a second of fully collecting herself she goes to get the batons*
Miss Locke: "Call them whatever you want. Arcade and I had a lot of fun studying their hidden mechanics. They're pretty advanced for a pair of sticks. Gave us a few ideas for new weapons." Arcade: "You Avengers have such wonderful toys! Well, I guess ex-Avenger in your case!" Mockingbird's batons are on a table in the next room.
Of course they did. Whatever, I’ll gladly beat any game you want to throw at me.
Arcade: "Careful what you wish for!" Before Mockingbird can reach her batons, a hidden wall panel springs open and launches a giant spinning buzzsaw blade at her. Arcade: "If you live, our fee gets cut in half. So we decided to cut you in half instead!"
*ducks quickly* seriously? That’s your plan?
Arcade: "Oh, you don't know the half of it!" Miss Locke: "The fun's just starting, Mockingbird." More wall panels open up and fire a flurry of spinning buzzsaw blades at Mockingbird.
*dives for her batons* yeah, of course. Because my favorite thing to do is fight for my life with a bunch of clones.
Arcade: "Clones?! Who are you calling-oh, wait. We are robot duplicates. I guess that sort of makes us clones." Miss Locke: "What gave it away?" The floor beneath Mockingbird suddenly opens up as soon as she grabs her batons. Below her is a deep chasm with deadly spikes at the bottom. Arcade: "Think fast!"
Everything. You might not be the smartest, but you aren’t that dumb.
Wow, thank you so much for the warning.
Arcade: "Oh, we're just demonstrating good sportsmanship!" Miss Locke: "And speaking of warnings..." The Arcade and Miss Locke robots walk into the next room and rapidly approach Mockingbird. Their eyes suddenly glow with a countdown timer starting at 10.
Please don’t blow up….
*runs at them and tries to disable (kill) them with her batons*
The Arcade robot goes down but the Miss Locke robot grabs Mockingbird from behind, as her self-destruct timer has only five seconds left. At the other end of the room is a doorway that might lead to safety.
*throws her head back to try and get her to let go, when shes free she runs to the doorway and turns the corner before she explodes.* this is probably a trap.
Mockingbird's move causes the Miss Locke robot to let go of her. As Mockingbird runs toward to the doorway, the Miss Locke robot pursues, but the Arcade robot struggles to stand back up and gets in her way. The Miss Locke robot trips on the Arcade robot and the both explode a safe distance from Mockingbird as she runs through the doorway. On the other side of the doorway, Mockingbird faces not another trap, but the bright lights and lively music of a massive, technologically-advanced, indoor carnival. Arcade's voice comes from a hidden intercom system. Arcade: "Welcome to Murderworld, Mockingbird!"
*doesn’t let her guard down* what now? Knives falling from the sky?
Arcade: "Not exactly!" Two tommy gun-armed robot clowns pop up from behind different carnival stands, take a second to aim at Mockingbird, and open fire.
