Three days ago we would've been well and truly underwater if we'd been standing here. The rain hit our local area hard and from our bushwalk today you could see how devastating the floods were, taking out 20 metre tall trees and scattering debris everywhere. But in saying that, the Australian bush is so resilient and will come back stronger than ever. On the way to Mermaid Pools, Tahmoor, NSW. 8-6-2016
