I NEED a fic where Annabeth teaches Hazel how to take proper care of her hair and what hairstyles are best under helmets because in my mind Annabeth adopts her as her little sister the second she realizes Percy did

since it’s canon that annabeth is really good at weaving and can make intricate patterns in her weaves unconsciously, i’m going to need annabeth to have dozens of different braided styles throughout the show and all of them are super complicated. while she’s at camp and has siblings to help, they can be extraordinarily complicated stuff and goddess braids and stuff like that, but then while they’re on the quests she keeps them in fancy protective styles. i think it would be such a fun layer to her character that is made possible by her being a black girl.

I like how they made Clarisse a lot more reasonable from the start. She doesn't like Annabeth but of course she'd choose her above anyone else to go on the quest with her: she is incredibly smart, she is a good fighter and already has experience. She can't freaking stand Percy but of course she would be 100% willing to include him—a son of Poseidon that has experience as well and is also a great warrior—on a quest that requires travelling by sea. Angry and proud? Yes, very. But also reasonable lmao
