Today is Eid Al-Adha, and the children in Gaza are still starving in tents and ruined homes. On a holiday like today, families and friends should be gathering, praying, giving to others, and dining together. However, in Gaza bombs still fall despite the ceasefire, and food is too expensive to buy.

Hamza’s family is suffering from the effects of malnutrition. His family includes him, his siblings, his parents, and several young nieces and nephews. Please consider donating something to him and his family, or boosting their fundraiser. Everything counts!

My name is Mohammed, and my wife is Najwa. We were devastated by the loss of our first and only child a few months ago. Today, we live in a tent lacking the most basic necessities, caught between the bitterness of loss, the harshness of displacement, and difficult living conditions.

I am a father of an 8-month-old baby who is suffering from a serious injury. His treatment is very expensive, and I have no money to buy the medicine he urgently needs.

We have spoken repeatedly about Nour’s situation before on this blog, and conditions have only gotten worse for her. To protect her from additional illness and to have a safe and warm space in which to treat her condition, her family needs funds to arrange shelter. In the long-term, they hope to rebuild their home. But for now, they just need to find someplace warm and out of the rain. Their current shelter is a shredded plastic “tent” currently being swamped by frigid winter rain:

I am a mother of four beautiful girls.

I never imagined I would have to ask strangers for help, but life has changed in ways I could never have imagined.

This war took so much from us. It stole our home, our safety, and the future I dreamed of for my daughters.

After 9 long years of waiting, I was finally blessed with my youngest baby, Haneen. She should have been welcomed with joy and celebration. Instead, she was born into hardship.

Haneen suffers from severe acid reflux and desperately needs infant formula. Every feeding is painful for her, and every cry breaks my heart because I cannot always provide what she needs.

I am doing everything I can for my four daughters, but we are struggling to find enough food, clean water, and the essentials to survive.
