Green dress shirt, navy tie, pleated khakis with every crease exactly where it should be. Honestly? It is in these moments, I am reminded of what truly matters. I remember that this is who I am. A formal submission man who showcases his place among men through his formal exterior. Would it have been easier to skip the iron, loosen the standard, tell myself one day doesn’t matter? Sure! But that’s exactly when it matters most. Discipline isn’t what you do when you feel like it, it’s what you do especially when you don’t. So I pressed the pleats. Knotted the tie. Chose structure over comfort. Because I know what I need. The shirt might be green, but the commitment stays constant

They flew into town for the presentation. With several hours to kill before heading to the airport, they stopped off at some bar for drinks and to play pool. They had no idea what kind of bar they walked into. The billiard balls were not the only balls played with that afternoon.
