Few weeks ago, pod2g- iOS hacker Found A Security Issue with SMS on iPhone.  The issue is “With Malicious Intent Someone Hacked the Reply-to Number in a SMS message without user’s knowledge”. Hackers are allowed to send a spoofed sms with Completely different numbers. So it is easy to steal your secure datas when you reply their message. But finally apple replied to this issue.

Apple says.

“Apple takes security very seriously. When using iMessage instead of SMS, addresses are verified which protects against these kinds of spoofing attacks. One of the limitations of SMS is that it allows messages to be sent with spoofed addresses to any phone, So we can urge customers to be extremely careful if they’re directed to an unknown website or address over SMS”
