I really like how Nine Tails are all fluffed up out of fear, and even then their size is still really, really small, the canon of my story tells he once tried to trim his tails in order to not call attention on himself as a kid.

I would recommend try and playing the games, three I would recommend (and that are quite popular among the Fandom) are Sonic Unleashed, Sonic and the black knight, and Sonic Frontiers, if you can't play them you could watch some gameplays as I do!

Another pieces of media you could try are series like Sonic X, Sonic Boom or Sonic Prime, and of course, can't forget about the movies since next year another one comes out, also there's the comics that idw is publishing, there's a lot of Sonic stuff you can watch, I bet you can find something you enjoy among it all
