The new book has me kinda-sorta planning a Gravity Falls themed Pulp Cthulhu game, and it made me want to show off the DM screen I built a little bit more. The built in monitor works so well, I’m super proud of it.
Made from stained pine with a glow in the dark resin inlay, supercharged for the video with a UV light.

in fact i have had this happen to me multiple times from other autistic people sometimes someone just doesn't realize they sound bored. or aren't as good at hiding that they Are bored lmao people aren't always gonna jive with your special interest and it may not really interest them like hate to break it to you but that isn't a personal attack on you
like i offhand can think of my coworker who also has adhd who says "yeah" in this way when i'm talking that makes it sound like she does not give a single fuck, and she's admitted that she sometimes zones out when other people are talking (i do this too) even if she's interested and trying to listen. and sometimes when She's talking i just start getting bored/losing energy and start trying to find ways to back out of the conversation like that's just how things are sometimes
so seeing posts like that are really annoying lol like yeah it really fucking sucks when it feels like you've bored someone while talking about something you love! however not only does it not automatically mean they're an ~evil neurotypical but also i'm sure most of the people reblogging that post would never acknowledge that they've very likely been the "...okay" person more than once

I can’t draw very well and hated that I couldn’t draw my DnD character, a tabaxi cleric named Merry Thing, but then I remembered I’m pretty good with a needle and thread so I made her
All made by hand, hand embroidered details, and I even crocheted the lace trim on her shift!
Update: I made Thing’s twin brother, Cheeky Night! Cheeky is my favorite npc in the campaign and I couldn’t have a Thing without him. He’s an absolute bastard of a man but I love him so much. The belt he’s wearing I wove by hand with embroidery floss, and the designs on his vest are symbolic to the campaign and his character.
Anyway I love him, I love my tabaxi twins, and I never want to use metallic embroidery floss ever again.
These guys have been getting notes again so I thought I’d mention that they got me a full time job at my favorite locally owned fabric and yarn store.
I tried to do someone a favor and somehow ended up frying my power supply, motherboard, and graphics card. I do not want to be alive right now.
I finally got to watch Nosferatu today and it was enjoyable enough. Solid 7.5 movie.

we owe so much to david lynch when it comes to film and television. so many horror films and shows were directly inspired by his work. but more than that he was such a eccentric weirdo, such a kind man. he was a comforting presence in this world and i'm glad he was here.
