Scarred and Broken:

Muse A suddenly disappears one day and after spending over a year looking for them without finding a single trace of them, Muse B, who is Muse A's boyfriend/girlfriend/best friend/sister/brother, begins to believe everyone else. Muse A has to be dead.

Muse B continues to think that for years until five years after Muse A had gone missing, they turn up on Muse B's doorstep, bloody, scarred, and bruised.

Muse A was taken by scientists and experimented on. For five years they lived every day wishing they could die. They finally escape, five years after they were taken, and immediately go to Muse B's house.

Muse B is happy to have Muse A back, but something about hem has changed. All of the experimenting, the testing, the torture, it got to them. Muse A isn’t the same person they were five years ago. They’re quiet, jumpy, easily angered, and Muse B doesn’t know what to do. Can they bring the old Muse A back, or will they have to learn to live with the new broken and scarred Muse A?
