Welcome to the Pink Apartments Program! We are so excited to get things started here and watch you grow into the people that you have worked so hard to be. Tonight the Pink News Magazine will be hosting a welcoming party in the rec room starting at 6pm est and then moving the party to lake michigan for a bonfire at 8pm est. There will be games and other fun activities around so be ready to mingle. Don’t be shy to take a look around and if you have any questions astrid will be at the desk along with gary who is head of our maintenance team! Now hurry and start unpacking or not who am I to care!

We have successfully hit our goal of thirty accounts and you know what that means ! Now before we jump into everything we are going to open slowly starting off with ooc posts and plotting calls! Between the hours of 11am-4pm est the timeline will be strictly used for plotting calls so be sure to get in those dms and plot your heart out. At 4pm est, we will be officially open for ic posts! Also be on a lookout for a message from Minnie around 3:30pm est! Happy Opening day, we can’t wait to get this started !!!

Apparently they got into it, because SHE HIT ROCK BOTTOM AND DIDN'T KNOW WHERE ELSE TO TURN. Heard they can be LOVING and OVER-BEARING; kinda reminds me of COMING HOME AFTER A LONG SHIFT AND GIN & TONIC vibes. ( k, 22, cst, she/they )

i understand where you are coming from. in same cases this is true, but from our experiences with roleplaying and being admins in the past this seemed like the best option. i, personally, have been one of those people to join a rp and then drop the same week and the main reason being that there is too many people and the tl was too fast to keep up with things. we are going to expand our numbers like we’ve previously said, but our goal is to develop relationship with all characters and then slowly introduce more apartments as we progress. this is just based on our experiences when joining a twitter rp with 80+ members and finding it to be overwhelming to start with. 

with this being an apartment rp we already took into account that it can get boring and planned events and tasks to take place. this is to increase timeline activity and basically force everyone to interact and plot with everyone. 

from our experience within twitter rps it can be very hard to connect with everyone with 60+ people at the very beginning. we wanted to choose a number that was small but still was big enough to create a successful community. we started at thirty but when someone asked to bump it up, we decided to go ahead and do forty. we are planning to expand our numbers, but want the create a good base beforehand. ( its a lot easier to plot with smaller number and then reach out to new members than scrambling to plot with everyone and having dms clogged up with over 80 messages of uncompleted plots ). we also believe that a steady timeline at the beginning is more beneficial for developing a new community than it being fast paced. quality over quantity is what we are aiming for.
