Multiple of times when I watch people go, I wonder: what if death isn't a thing?

What if we all get to live life how long we want. 100 years. 1000 years. 100000000—no matter how many zeroes we add there.

..

But then, if loss and death isn't a thing—how will we learn to appreciate things?

Sure, it's sad, but let's be real it's the thought that some day we'll lose whatever we have that pushes us to feel grateful and appreciative of the moments that we have now.

Maybe... It isn't so bad that leaving is a thing. It just makes something so simple all the more precious.
