Summary: One measly moment of inattention, and she was sent flying gracelessly to land on her ass. The instant she slipped, a rather unbecoming shriek of surprise and horror tore from her throat. As she sat miserable and fuming in the pile of snow, she couldn’t help noticing the cackle coming from close by.

So some people actually liked that edit-slash-AU I made of Aomine and Momoi, so here’s a second part to that.

well. we’ve known that momoi is exactly aomine’s type since forever, right? now, as it comes out, momoi describes her type as ‘someone who is gap’, which i found kind of unexpected.

a ‘gap’ guy is someone who appears to be one thing on the outside (detached, for example), but is another thing on the inside (a softie, for example). or a guy who acts in a confusing/contradicting way, basically (A BIG MACHO MAN WHO COLLECTS BUTTERFLIES, for example). there has to be a dissonance between appearance and character.

you could say kuroko is ‘gap’, but only in the basketball sense (weak on the outside but can look quite cool on the court).

at the same time, ‘gap’ is aomine’s very essence because he’s a huge tsundere. satsuki also says in her interview that aomine’s attempts to act cool now make her laugh because he was actually a crybaby. in other words, aomine is a very crusty baguette.

another thing - the moment i saw ‘gap’, i remembered a scene from the 3ds game where kise and moriyama discuss what traits girls find attractive/charming in guys. and kise says it’s the ‘gap moe attidude’. 

….and aomomo was shown as an example of a guy acting ‘gap’ (basically, tsundere) towards a girl in that scene. you can listen to it here lmao.
