Let me take this challenge

Oikawa was momentarily speechless. “That was mean, Iwa-chan!” He whined a moment later, masking his involuntary hurt with an exaggerated whinging. “I’ll have you know that I know, for a fact, that you like me even if you never give me anything!” Following after Iwaizumi with a pout, he then added, “Ne, Iwa-chan, you’re so terrible. You’d rather spend time with other people than your best friend. Are you really trying to get rid of me?”

“Why the hell are you so dramatic?”

It was giving him a headache honestly. But he was sure that Oikawa was going to end up stalking him as he delivered presents for White Day. Letting out a sigh he ran his hand through his short hair. Other hand grabbing Oikawa by his wrist.

“Changing the subject, Iwa-chan?” Oikawa asked, not bothering to pull the mask down when Iwaizumi pulled it up suddenly. He did adjust it so that it wasn’t so awkwardly placed across the bridge of his nose. “And ne, you touch me so freely. Do you know exactly what some girls would do for a chance to touch me like you do?” 

“I do, I have to hear about your crazy fans all the time as your bodyguard.”

“nice t’meet ya.” tanaka’s grip on the other boy’s hand is firm, welcoming ; he even pats him on the ball of his shoulder after pulling his hand back. he glances between the two pokemon, briefly shaking his head out of mild exasperation.

“scrafty didn’t mean any harm. she just doesn’t know how to greet people properly.” as he says this, he gestures towards said pokemon. she waddles up to the two strangers, drops her extra skin, and extends a paw out to pat human and pokemon alike on their legs in the form of an apology. “i have some extra treats i made earlier. can lycanroc have one?”

Lycanroc, previously looking annoyed at Scrafty but not anywhere close to biting looked up at Tanaka. Tail wagging and eyes begging at the idea of a treat. Hajime was not as excited from hearing the word, knowing how she immediately turned cute to get something yummy to eat. But as an apology he could accept it, not that he was personally offended.

“We’re going to make some little fishy friends for you, Jelly..” Koushi’s smile beamed as Akane spoke for her stuffed friend, she really was too cute and it was moments like this that made Koushi want to be a nanny in the first place. Interactions as such made him remember what it was like to be a child.

“Great, you’re doing good. Now, we’re going to fold these two corners, to make some fins.” Koushi showed her slowly, neatly folding the fins.

Slowly Akane stuck out her tongue from the side of her mouth. Matching the folds slowly as she didn’t want to mess up and disappoint Sugawara. He was such a nice nanny and teacher! She wished her own kindergarten teacher was this patient with her.

The folds weren’t perfect, but it was a fish. Her fish, and soon Jelly’s friend. Placing the fish on top of the soft manta ray she smiled to herself. Her daddy was going to be so proud when he came home tonight. Not soon enough.

“Alphas are idiots.”

The blond mumbles, handing a peeled orange to Iwaizumi. Kyoutani went back to peeling another one. He didn’t exactly care about oranges, sour things… but these tasted okay. 

“Highly irritating, pompous peacocks–”

The beta keeps talking, maybe more to himself. A little bit soft perhaps, as if careful of not upsetting the elder.

“You aren’t wrong, we do have Oikawa as a team alpha.”

“Ooh you ditching? I’ll come right with you. Hold on a second.” With a nimbleness quite surprising for someone of his build, Bokuto reached forward and snagged a sizable bowl of chips, propping the accompanying dip on top to secure it and drawing his jacket around himself. “Okay let’s go!”  Since you took the trouble to come all this way to a party you didn’t have a good time in, might as well leave with something you actually like so the trip isn’t wasted.

“You do know that I could have bought you chips if you needed it? Whatever, it’s not like they’ll notice it’s gone.”
