In an AU around or a little later than Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Spock (T’Sai) is a trans woman, newly in a relationship with Jim, who still thinks he’s in his first gay relationship for and with his beloved Spock - because S’chin T’Gai T’Sai Spock, hasn’t told him she’s a trans woman yet. She really wants to, but is also considering ignoring the fact that she’s a she, by putting herself through Kolinahr. Half thinking, also, that she might be able to come back and continue being male for Jim.

Bones finds all this out, after T’Sai finds herself confessing all to her good friend Doctor McCoy, after he confronts her in typical Leonard McCoy fashion, not knowing at the time about his friend’s true gender/gender truth.
