What: This blog is an unsupervised automated feed comprised of Sherlock (TV) fics posted publicly to ArchiveOfOurOwn.org and tagged with the character 'Sherlock Holmes'. Basically what that means is that as fics are submitted to the Sherlock (TV) -> Sherlock Holmes tag on AO3, a link to them is generated automatically and sent to post on this blog.
Who: Lots of different people wrote the fics you'll find here. The authors are all credited on each individual post.
Why: Sherlock Holmes, as played by Benedict Cumberbatch, in the BBC show Sherlock: need I say more? He is fucking perfection, and I don't know about you - but I want more of him. That's right - USS Sherlock is the ship here. Johnlock? We got it. Sherlolly? Hells yeah. Sheriarity, Irenelock? Absolutely. Sherlock/Mrs. Hudson, Sherlock/OC, Sherlock/Yo Momma, Sherlock/Pikachu? Why not? ALL SHERLOCK, ALL THE TIME!
How: A script sees that new fics have been posted, fetches their info automatically, and posts a link back to them here. This magic is made possible by an IFTTT recipe created by Astolat.
When: The blog is updated periodically as new fics appear under the Sherlock (TV) fandom + Sherlock Holmes character tags on AO3.
Where: All fics you see here were originally posted to AO3. This is just an automated feed.
