👻 - He doesn't believe in them, but doesn't deny their existence either. He welcomes paranormal experiences and hopes to experience something of the sort one day. (Except for Containment verse Miki, that one is used to weird spooks)

🍟 - He's usually broke or very tight on money so he has to cook his own things with the few ingredients he can scrounge up. If he has money, he splurges them on snacks, even though it's a rare occurrence.

💥 - His obliviousness, whether fabricated or not, keeps him from externalizing his negative emotions on the spot, but the more he bottles them up, the more of a toll they end up taking on his psyche in the long run. Although he appears unaffected by being spoken to in condescending ways and being insulted, he actually takes these negative comments to heart and they end up chipping at his self esteem. In that sense, he has trouble addressing his deep seated sadness and would rather cover it up with self deprecating humor.

🕷️ - He is afraid of breaking his rituals, thinking that something bad will happen if he does, such as the consequences of the bets he makes with himself actually coming true. As for more mundane fears, he is a hypochondriac, suffers from megalophobia (me too fhsh), acrophobia, and eisoptrophobia (like Shiro does).

🎵 - He mostly listens to Jpop and bubbly music, synthwave, electronica, EDM, hip-hop. However, he is always up to listen to his friends’ music recommendations. As for a particular song, maybe this one.

🔫 - At first, he trusts people way too easily and isn’t good at maintaining friendships, because he is often too open and straightforward about his interests and hyperfixations and others can’t handle how smothering he can be. In return, to remedy that aspect of himself, he starts keeping to himself and becomes dissatisfied with the people around him, ultimately removing himself from his entourage. 

Although he is starry eyed and quick to jump to someone’s aid in the face of injustice or unfair treatment, he wouldn’t selflessly sacrifice himself for someone else’s sake because he knows that nobody else would do that for him. He doesn’t have a hero complex and despite acting like an airhead most of the time, he has a realistic mentality. However, he wouldn’t betray someone else to save his own skin, not if he knew what he was signing up for beforehand. As long as he has genuine friends by his side, he would find a way to protect them.

📦 - Most likely to talk his way out of being kidnapped. Most likely to annoy the ghost that’s haunting him into leaving him alone. Most likely to get kicked out of a kitchen or supermarket for rearranging the shelves in a way that’s pleasing to his visual cortex. Most likely to yell the name of an animal and point at it when he sees it on the street and interrupt the person he’s with.

🔥 - He overthinks a lot when he’s on his own and often gets paralyzed by indecision. He is a conscious procrastinator, often lacking the motivation to engage in activities unless he can share in them with another person.

❤️ - Quality time.

Lios spent most his time idling in place when no one to address came about. Especially with the ignored silence, not that it bothered him in the first place but like a bird, it would be hard to tell if he was akin to sleeping. Having not moved for a small majority and neither the changing look on his mask, but the only traces of life that were detected was that of Miki he slowly picked up on. Although, there were more than him about, not all the agents wanted to humour him all that much either - no questions to why but a hidden threat is worse than a visible one. When he finally moved, mechanical bits of metal hinged slowly and moved from his stagnant position before his legs finally moved in a sluggish shamble. “This light is gross.” Was a small murmur, but as soon as he reached the glass door of his cell, Lios raised his hands to press his palms to it, leaning into it and trying to look up the sides.

“Now who goes there?” As if he was agitated, there was only curiosity despite how he worded himself, mostly since he’d been seeing the same faces all around but none answered his questions. That’s what mattered so far but once he spotted Miki with the upcoming angle he had, he only had very vague details apart. “You.” Lios abruptly stated, not knowing the intended stop was to come around here. Never so certain was Lios.

      The sound of another’s voice took him aback. He was out of the loop regarding recent events since he often went home after hours and didn’t know that they brought in living, breathing people to that sector - even if both of those descriptors were a stretch for Lios.

      “Me?” he responded, looking around in hopes to pinpoint where the sound was coming from. 

      Miki stopped in his tracks and did a double take between his written directions and the sign on the wall before he moved a few hurried steps closer towards the entity. When met with the odd display of metallic limbs and eyeless sockets, he didn’t have the natural fear response most would. Much like Shiro, he seemed fascinated on a first glance and didn’t hesitate to approach the glass, going as far as to press his face against it while he stared inside at the animated stranger. His honey-hued eyes took great interest in the mask and studied it intently in hopes of seeing what hid beneath it, if anything at all.

      “They can’t pay me enough,” he grumbled to himself as he gathered up a clean washcloth and his to-do list from his cart. His next stop? The mezzanine. He breathed out a sigh of relief when he stepped onto solid ground, but that’s about when the relief ended because he didn’t have to walk too far until he reached his destination. “L2-12... Did I pass it by?” he wondered, glancing up from his clipboard in search of the correct number painted on the wall.

The twins didn’t often go out with just themselves, given the trio that went to work together often on their routes. However, this case was entirely different, after the message slamming Miki would’ve got to come out and meet the twins - albeit subject to the snow… Hopefully wouldn’t prove to be too much a pain for him, the twins were dressed warm and comfortable. Although, Markus was the one who had the scarf wrapped around his neck, give and take to share while he sat on a pile of shoveled snow. If pestering Miki to come to a snowed over park space, the assumed activity would probably be spoken for by the spacious sled that were propped nearby - if he so of course wanted to. If not, they’d walk him home no doubt. 

“I hope it’s not too cold for you- or so, sorry to pester you all the way out here, we were going to mess with the sled and we thought to invite you. Even if it’s just the one.”

      None the wiser as to the occasion, Miki came underdressed. He was wearing just a navy parka, a neckwarmer, his usual denim jeans, a pair of timberlands and a pair of fingerless gloves. For all he knew, they were going to meet up at the park, then go back to their place to hang out indoors and play video games. So naturally, when he saw what they were up to he went red in the face, not because he was warm, but because he was overwhelmed by embarrassment. Despite his shivering, he didn’t complain, nor did he ruin their plans. He hugged himself and paced around Markus, glancing towards the sled.

Just in a snap, as soon as he seen his phone go off in return, he took a small glance down at his screen - opening the message that further left Nikki in charge of the talking for a moment while he giggled away with a small; ‘what is that,’ under his breath. Markus clearly wasn’t sure, but he was looking through it next too for the next food in mind.

His 180 mood move made the twin perk up from his small slump, though especially when he said he wanted to go on top of that - it made him look over his shoulder briefly, but eyes instantly snapped back when he heard him start hacking. Niklaus was about to move in to help him, paired next to his brother as they both had their flare of worry, but with that recovery time like Miki - showed them he didn’t need the help. Be it he started talking like he had all his air return to his lungs as fast as it left him, of course he had no problem with going back to show him - it wasn’t unheard of seeing workers of the establishment coming around.

“Not too far back along the road, although it’s looks small but it really isn’t all that. We haven’t got too far from work honestly. Where we were just coming from, we could go back?”

“Are we going to go back to the pet store then? To see all the pets?” Clearly he was on the same page, for someone who wasn’t too keen leaving the animals. If he could live there with them, he would.

      Niklaus didn’t need to ask for confirmation. In that context, Miki dubbed as a second Markus with his mannerisms and his puppy-like grin bearing sharp canines. After he recovered from his coughing fit, he bounced on his heels and nodded along, slamming his balled up fists up and down in excitement.

      “I mean, Nikki said it’s okay, so we should go!” He announced, humming triumphantly behind his grin.

      In saying that, he hopped forward and wedged himself between the two of them. After he spun around on his heel, he hooked his arms around theirs and leaned his weight forward, seeking to budge them out of their spots. However, the only one who lost his balance was him. If not for their solid frames holding him together, he would have fallen face-first on the pavement. Despite that minor hiccup, he was still giggling and his eyes were beaming with enthusiasm.

The small subtle differences in the moment weren’t lost on Niklaus, though it wasn’t in his mind to think too much about it from that small gesture. But now he had Markus hanging over his shoulder to peep at them when the twin shifted too much into his space - like two puppies accidentally competing for Miki’s attention. Of course he wouldn’t want to call him out on it either, should he feel to have made him shook over presence, but that was far from it - Nikki only knew from past experiences. None that were similar to Miki though. However, his answer made the twins look at each other, but not with anything akin to doubt, for all he was a free person then… As they were, minding no work right now but not accompanied by their ride third buddy.

The follow up made Markus go wide-eyed, but on top of that, Niklaus even briefly too with parted lips, reminiscent of shock in the light sense - it wiped itself free in seconds.

“You’ll see us around, don’t worry. You have our numbers after all too, why wouldn’t we talk to you even too? If you have doubts, we work in the pet store nearby most days if you ever wish to stop by and idle. That, or we’ll find you.” Although it probably sounded like a threat coming from him, against those innocent eyes.

“We won’t forget about you, Miki. We could never, you’re our buddy. Our sticker buddy too, here-” He pulled up his phone, with a few fwips of thumb after already long adding him. Markus sent him a message already then and there, even if he was standing right in front of them. The message was an emoji, a mere little emoji food that was the burger emoji.

      Realizing that he said too much, he turned his head away from them and let out an awkward chuckle while he scratched at the back of his head. His cheeks were red, not out of embarrassment but more in flattery while he was subjected to their strong reactions. He accepted their words and nodded along, his smile quirking up at the corners. Just as he wanted to reply, he heard his phone go off and quickly made a grab for it. What he saw on the lockscreen made him giggle.

      “A sticker buddy,” he parroted while he swiped his thumb over his screen, searching for an emoji to reply with. On the topic of food, he sent back the dango emoji. Just then, his stomach growled a little, but he slapped his palm over it to quiet it down - it didn’t work. To cover it up, he quickly turned his attention to Niklaus and addressed his earlier offer.

In passing, his words and let alone look made Faron flinch with a small scrunch of his nose - scoffing playfully under his breath, and the inevitable threat of letting the door close on him. Of course he wouldn’t, all fun in games.

“Nah, leave me in the dust,” Faron chimed in, but when it came to his turn to come inside, he had followed in shortly after, and not as fast as Miki was to be - getting to his drinks that was. He took a moment to look around and decide what he was going to get too, but when Miki vanished from sight, he had taken to quickly wander off in his last sighted direction. Of course passing into his aisle, his head turned as soon as wind for the gesture, picking up his pace until he cut the distance.

Though he hadn’t interfered with his words when he was about to start explaining and Faron took his time to look over the drinks they had, but attention jumped between Miki and the glass. Though if his cycle brought him back a moment earlier, he would’ve warned him of the person, that surely his words were funny but not the minor scolding of the customer - much when the postmans head jerked back to face Miki. It was a small window, especially when Faron took a reaching step over, grasping Miki’s shoulder and carefully tugging him closer to his spot, whether or not Miki was suppose to be going the opposite way.

“You watch it-” He vaguely murmured in retaliation to the customers distaste, whether Miki was in the wrong or not. But all due, his attention swerved back to him with a more light heart than the latter. “Pfft– I thought that kind of stuff was payless services you could just join and come into, didn’t think it’s literal sense was interview worthy like that. Are you going to bother?”

      For Faron to take his side, that surprised him more than the customer who was glaring daggers at him. His gaze grew wider while he did a double take between him and the man and he put his hands up in a defensive gesture, a silent way of asking for a truce. Even though he knew he was in the wrong, that display of overprotectiveness left him feeling sheepish. Without complaint, he leaned into Faron’s side and partially hid behind him, at least until the scowling man took his leave. Dainty hands clung to his sleeve in a childish way.

      “Thanks,” he grinned and tilted his head. With a gentle tug, he urged him towards the coolers further down the aisle. His gaze wandered across the shelves, fixating on the sour gummies, but he reluctantly averted it on their way past. And so, his fingers lost their grip too as he slipped away from Faron like an excited kid in a candy shop.

Surely the more he had to add to his barrage of words were going to make him steam like a kettle - all he was able to do was take it by this point but Miki didn’t make him uncomfortable in the slightest. Especially when he went ahead and nudged him, his frame tensed with a giggle - turning his head better with a small squint. But the wobble of lips were enough to tell him where his status was on the spot, pocketing his phone not long after.

“Y-you can, I don’t mind-” He anticipated him to just go for it by his gremlin moment gesture - though his heart of innocence he seen told him otherwise. But to make his life easier, he bent down a little bit and stuck his closest arm out to his side, close to his grabby hands. Although, in reality he wouldn’t just let people feel him up, even if it’s just a little muscle admiration, Miki was special. “To your hearts content,” His tone fell as quickly confident as he sounded - sheepish laced his voice while with a small flex of his bicep to his liking.

      Even with spoken permission, Miki waited a bit longer before he touched him. Seeing Markus willingly offer up his arm like that erased his worries, though.

      “Aye aye, Markoo,” he giggled and nodded. 

      Timidly, his hands closed in on his bicep and cupped it with a gentle squeeze, one above, one on its underside. When Markus flexed it, he patted it down the same way a curious cat pats foreign objects - to study them. After the pressure of his grip eased off, he settled for gliding his fingertips across the curving of the muscle while slowly running his palm on its underside. He could feel his cheeks growing hotter, but his smile maintained its innocence all throughout.

Markus knew nothing next to taking photos in the first, but he wouldn’t be the first to notice the faults that came with it too - especially when he got the approval from Miki, he had no worries. His frame was a noodle though when Miki started swaying with him while he was looking at the photo, tittering to himself before one handing his phone for a moment.

“It is cute, I’ll be sure to send it over to you too when I get it set up-” Markus cradled his phone to his frame when Miki departed and leaned over to take a look, albeit he was aware of the stepping about that looked far from safe from his angle when he seemed to move too fast for even him. “Be careful now,” He pipped in, perking up in his space. “Doesn’t that mean you need pictures too if it did all that for you as well?” One set after another.

Though when Miki had taken his sliver of window to peek at the other twin, he may had been vaguely graced by his gaze - paying their antics mind, but the divertion that came as quick as his eyes made Niklaus raise his brows briefly, almost like he thought he did something wrong. However he wasn’t long to stay stranded in his small spot when the twin took a step ever after Miki spoke, putting his phone in his pocket.

“Think you’re worrying too much, there’s nothing important going on right now for us. But is it we are distracting you from something important?” He chimed in, be it what followed was a small chuckle.

      “I thought I could always snap some candid photos of you guys. Or maybe you’d just send me yours, whatever works.” 

      Heeding Markus’ warning, he stuffed his phone in his pocket and he took a quick glance in the direction of his hand to make sure it didn’t just slip out of his fingers prematurely. It wouldn’t be the first time. As he lifted his gaze, rather than facing the puppy-eyed twin, he got visibly startled by Niklaus who popped into frame like a jumpscare. His immediate reaction was to make a fist and cough in it a couple of times in attempt to hide how flustered he was. When it came to Markus, talking to him felt natural: his posture was relaxed, his smile never faltered, and he didn’t hold back on his voice’s volume. With Niklaus, he was entirely the opposite at that moment, but not even he understood why.

Niklaus waved a reassuring hand, whether he caught the cue or not, he had lifted his head with a puff of breath, though not aware that he may had made Miki feel otherwise - he had no room to when Markus popped in. Left patting his chest in the after math a few times.

“Landing cute words-” He murmured, but still by the looks of it he wasn’t upset by it or let alone bothered - genuinely a first being caught off guard like that. However, not to distract them when they were settling for their photo, he was idled and looking at his phone briefly just to set the rest. 

He easily burst into a cackle when Miki took the reigns into his own hands, but he had no qualms with it, he bore with the height difference for him and the cute photo - enough his arm threw around his shoulder in return. He might’ve had the pudge of his squished cheek interfering one side, but he had one eye open to make sure the camera was aligned. But to share in it, the hand that hung around Miki’s shoulder craned at the wrist, and also threw up a V sign so they matched.

“Cheese!” Markus chimed in, the click of the coming shortly after, although he didn’t depart from him so quick as he brought the phone screen closer to see the results on the screen. “Is it good?”

      Due to Markus moving the phone too quickly instead of letting the process of sharpening finish, the photo came out a bit blurrier than expected. Even so, Miki gave him a nod of approval and hummed with delight.

      “It’s really cute! You should send it to me, so I can set it up too. We can take more whenever, I don’t mind.”

      Giggling behind his grin, he bumped against Mark’s frame and swayed with him from side to side. He eventually let him go and plopped back into his spot with a clumsy misstep, though all it seemed to do was make him chuckle.
