Overboard? Nonsense. This was nothing in his eye. The man Sin had helped seemed worried about having too much to eat. Sin tossed the flag aside and started stretching and turning his head around to the fisher.
“ We can only find out if we try, right? “
Turning his head back forward he leaped into the water, less gracious than most. Grabbing one fish after another that he could get his hands until his pockets, hands and mouth were filled with the half-properly cooked sea animals.
Splashing like a dog back to the bank he dropped the things into the bucket from where he had snatched the raw samples from before.
“ There! …. Now what do we do with them, Fisher-san? “
He dried his soaked gloves against his equally soaked pants before putting them against his waist, looking enthusiastically to the guy he only knows as the fisher.
... Well. He did go to the trouble. Although curious as he was as to how to actually deal with these things now that.. he had went and brought them over. They were cooked enough to have some of the smell gone but.. not quite entirely to be considered safe to eat. That and they weren’t cleaned of scales or guts..
... But even then those might’ve been singed in the process. Just eat around them he thought. Picking up the fish would he promptly shove a stick through their mouths and out the unsavory end of them before placing them just outside the circle of fire he had made to keep himself warm.
Once they had all been placed, he’d sit back before looking over at the one eyed fellow, giving him a nod of his head and showing him the now properly cooking fish.
“ Luckily, fish doesn’t take too long to cook. Sometimes its even better to stop it early so you don’t overcook it, or else it’ll taste like rubber. You still want it kind of moist on the inside, but having a bit of a crunchy skin is nice, too! “
