never too late to ask about fs! i'm not a fan of alysa liu and overall i think the competition was a bit disappointing. i think ami nakai should have won and that she was very underscorded in the free (mainly as they were really trying to push for kaori to win). i feel like the short was scored somehow fairly but the free, not so much.

overall hate how political the judging is. anyway, i felt sorry for adelia but she really messed up and absolutely didn't manage to skate enjoyably after that quad toeloop try so i feel like her placement was pretty justified but also it was kind of obvious she would fold under the pressure. i hate russia as a country and think they should be sanctioned, especially economically, but the sports bans feel a bit hypocritical at this point re: us in iran and i just miss the level the russians brought to the sport.
