maybe it’s hitting me at an odd angle bc I’ve unfortunately been very parentified and . This is gonna sound weird but Spousified in a way. Like I am my own dad and I am my mom’s best friend. she told herself she couldn’t have friends after divorcing my dad because she needed to be there for us 110% and now she has no support system but me. I don’t know what to do. I suddenly don’t know how to be my own dad anymore. I let her cry it out and kept my emotions to myself and only gave her the positives and rationals and she calmed down and went back to work but now im at my desk and I feel like. Idk. Im not the one with cancer I don’t know why im acting like this

everything will be fine. unfortunately my brother is no help at all but that is not surprising. He’s got a stable job and spends his free time watching the stock market and being a dopehead but somehow my mom pays for every one of his bills and he cannot help her with this outrageous deductible. or emotional support. or anything beyond “bruh that’s crazy” but it’s ok. that’s why im my moms best friend .
