🍋🐝A look behind the scenes of our made-to-measure dress for Beyonce for 5:31Jerome! First step was consulting with the designer with their sketch - discussing the vibe, construction, specs, and design adjustments. Next we translated the sketch into a technical flat so the seams and proportion is accurate, for approval from the designer. This piece was all about the absolute perfect fit, so we made a custom dressform to Beyonce’s exact measurements so the design could be translated beautifully. The muslin was then made for review, so the slit could be placed and feedback could be provided – in this case length was added to the hem. Then the magic happens✨the pattern is perfected and the sample is made! The whole project was complete within a week! 💛 #MadeByAntwerpAtelier #WeBelieveInDesigners
