A nice name for a slightly intimidating man. Colt likes that. “Well, Mr. Hyde, the duty of a prince is to know those invited to a ball hosted by his parents. You just happened to have caught my eye, is all.” It wasn’t a lie. Perhaps it was more of an understatement. But Orson would find that out soon enough.  “Why haven’t you come to more of these occasions? My mother and I adore parties, even if we aren’t able to host ones like we’d want to.”

             “I’M NOT REALLY all that high-class. I rarely get an invitation.” Orson shrugged, letting his shoulders relax as he let his golden eye fall on him.  He doubted he knew anything about him  and what he did, or he would have known just why he never came. The guests at this ball weren’t his friends, they were his employers. 

                       “i don’t mind the couples part. if it’s funny, i’m fine with it. you like it when i do that, i do it a lot in the bedroom so hush.” quietly watching her from behind, “y’know what, i should make dinner tonight, just for you. nothing to big or formal, i wanna make up for not letting you watch cheesy stuff.”

            “REALLY? THAT’S SO sweet of you.” She smiled before she came to a realization, frowning and turning around. “Aki, what is this about...? You came over to stay with me in the middle of the night and now you’re letting me watch whatever I want and making me dinner? Did I do something special?”

“Truly. I’ve always been fond of hanging around them, whether they’re playing or not. There’s not anyoen else to talk to here… Or, well, until now.” Colt smiles at the stranger. His mother always did say a prince must learn to converse with people, especially at balls. Not that he was ever bad at it. Especially not when those he was conversing with wore their tailored suits in such a nice way. “What do they call you?”

            “ORSON HYDE.” WELL, maybe that wasn’t what most people called him, but that was his name. He glanced over the smaller male, reaching a realization. Was the prince talking to him? Why him when there were several other far more interesting people around he could talk to instead? “I wouldn’t expect the prince to know me though.”
