People that "barely eat" and can't lose weight when they're 100+ lbs overweight either don't know how to count calories or are in denial about their eating habits (or just lying so they don't have to take accountability 👀)

People losing weight has nothing to do with what they think about you being fat.
PCOS didn't cause you to gain 100lbs.
Your habits did.
Do you think it is okay for a fat person, who is aware of all the risks involved, to still be fat because they want to be? Are you simply against the fat liberation movement as a concept or is it your goal to make people not want to be fat because being fat is unhealthy?
If they're informed about the risks and still choose to be fat that is their choice and I'm not here to force anyone to be thin. If it's not affecting me I don't care what they choose to do with their body. Would I think it'd be better for them if they chose to not be fat? Sure but again.. their choice.
I am against the fat liberation movement. I do think some of their points are good (being respectful, not bullying..) but there is simply too much misinformation and hateful energy for me to support the movement.
One argument that doesn't make sense to me when I say being fat is unhealthy is "thin people can be unhealthy too"
Obviously not all thin people are healthy. You can have a lot of things wrong with you without being fat. That doesn't change the fact that being fat is unhealthy for you. It makes it much more likely to get one of the obesity related diseases and makes already existing diseases much worse.
Well thin people that smoke 5 packs a day aren't healthy just bc they're thin
What about thin people that are out drinking daily they aren't healthy
Well yeah nobody said these people are healthy. There are a lot of ways someone can be unhealthy and being fat is one of them.
Thin≠healthy
Fat=unhealthy
