Anthony's lips parted as a quiet chuckle fell from them. "I knew I hired you for a reason." He jested with her, though the look in his eye clearly stated that it wasn't because she was going to tell him if the coffee was bad. "No shit," he blew air over his lips, indication of how impressed he was over the matter. "Alright." He nodded his head, "That should have been something you put on your resume," he joked with her, "but then again, someone else might have snatched you up before I got the chance." @phoebecarver

Anthony's laughter was airy, light as the breeze that was blowing through Kismet Harbor. "Mm, that is something I remember doin' to my parents here and there." Though, likely less than the average teenager, if he were being honest with himself. He was far more worried about disappointing his father and not being able to live up to expectations. "You are pretty cool," a faint smile pulled the corners of his mouth upward with the admittance. "I think I'd rather hang out with you, but I suppose I'm pretty biased about the matter." @martyxrivera

Anthony nodded his head along to Charlie's words. He didn't know much about the animals that were taken care of at Charlie's farm, but he did know that the other man put great effort into them and genuinely was interested in it. "Hopefully the bull is feeling better?" Anthony questioned, though he was merely assuming since Charlie hadn't concluded one way or another. "I find that's the best time to start a project, at times, or at least motivate you to do what you wanted." @charliesxdavis

An elk, the words rang in his ears and his jaw fell slack. "Shit, uh, wait," he gently called out to her, instructing Bluebell to stay with a gesture of his hand as he moved closer to the brunette. "Should we come up with a better game plan than if it gores you to call 911?" Anthony raised a cautious brow, speaking in a low voice, not wanting to spook the elk. "I've been in war zones and that just doesn't feel like the safest of options." Anthony kept his eyes on the elk, though he avoided direct eye contact at the same time. "Like maybe I should be the one that gets it off." @aliyebalik

Anthony chuckled softly with Phoebe's words. "We've all got that one thing, right?" That one thin that kept them going through the day. Coffee seemed to be fairly universal at the end of the day. "If you ever need more, I try to keep the break room filled with coffee. Decent stuff, too. And if the rest of the staff is lying to me and it's not actually decent, feel free to let me know." Anthony assured her, giving her a smile. "You have any experience with breaks before?" @phoebecarver

"You don't have to beg," though Anthony considered it for a half a beat. "I'd be happy to join you." He told her, feeling suddenly more warm with the admittance that fell from his lips. "I know Kismet pretty well now, I'm sure not as good as you do, but I can't say I've ever seen it from the point of view of being on a bike." He either walked or ran, not always taking the time to take in the sights. Anthony began to walk toward the bike shop that she pointed out. "So what did Emilia ditch you for?" @martyxrivera

Thankfully, he got a message saying Anthony could come over and help out. He had new boards in the back of his truck and the necessary supplies. He had already moved animals so there was no worry of them getting out in the way. He looked up, hearing someone coming, and smiled as he saw Anthony on his way over. "Hey, thanks for coming!" he waved. @anthonyxblake

Anthony rarely minded staying busy and getting involved in Kismet Harbor's community had been something he'd been doing more of in the last two years that he'd been in town. Seeing that Charlie needed help with a fence repair and knowing that he wasn't scheduled at Lucy's Auto Shop for anything, he opted to lend a helping hand. When he arrived, he lugged a cooler out of his vehicle, one that held several bottles of water for the two of them and walked over to Charlie. "Not a problem," he responded with a wave of his free hand. "I've got us some water here." Anthony stated, placing the small cooler on the ground in the shade of Charlie's truck. "I never mind some manual labor." @charliesxdavis

"Coffee and an energy drink?" Anthony's brows rose curiously, wondering just for a beat, what it was like to be that young. He was certain if he tried to mix two different caffeinated beverages, that he might have a heart attack. It's not like Anthony wasn't in good shape, but he wasn't as young as his newest employee anymore. He hadn't been in a long time. "Yup, oil change at noon." He nodded his head at her memory. "I've got a truck I've been working on for a neighbor, the brakes needed to be done if you want to help me with that this morning." @phoebecarver

Anthony watched as the other took a half step back. He followed suit, Bluebell, too. His gaze shifted, watching as she craned her neck to get a peak of what it might be. Anthony felt like he was holding his breath, chest tightening with each passing second. He knew this feeling all too well. Like he was waiting to be hunted. It reminded him too much of the time after the helicopter crash, his mouth drying with the thought. Bluebell nudged his hand with her wet nose, bringing him back to Earth as she did so. He immediately remembered that he was in Kismet Harbor, nothing was going to happen to him there. "See anything, yet?" He questioned, almost cautiously. @aliyebalik

Anthony nodded his head. While he didn't know her history, not as well as his brother did anyhow, he could respect not trusting her parents. Anthony wasn't all that trusting of people altogether, all things considering. Though, the two years in Kismet Harbor had softened the man some. "That makes sense. I don't know about all the businesses and bosses here, but feels like most people would be okay with that." Anthony told her, looking down at Rory's daughter for a beat. "It'll all work out and since we have the shop, I can always rotate days with Brody and come watch her myself." @auroraxblake

"Hey!" Marty yelled as she rode a bike towards Anthony and rang the bell. Her and Emilia had rented bikes in the park and then Emilia ditched her for her friends, so Marty was doing it on her own. For now, at least. Seeing Anthony brought a smile to her face and the idea that she could possibly get him to join her biking. She rode around for a moment before stopping and leaning against the handlebars. "What are your plans today?"

Anthony was strolling in Kismet Harbor Park when he heard someone yell a greeting, followed by the ring of a bike bell. He looked up, spotting an all too familiar face. Naturally, a smile tugged on the corners of his lips at the sight of Marty. As she came up to him and rested against the handle bars, he stopped walking. "Hey," he greeted her in return before answering her question. "Uh, nothing actually. Which feels pretty strange now that I say it aloud." The admittance fell from his lips and he shook his head. @martyxrivera

With the weather getting steadily warmer, Aliye was trying to pack in as much training time as she could outdoors before the heat became too sweltering. She was a few miles into a long run on the trails outside of town, tapering down for a break to sip some water when she heard a not so subtle rustling in the bushes. Normally she'd just leave it be, but it was loud enough and sounded big enough to keep her rooted to the spot she was at trying to see what it could be. When she heard footsteps coming up the trail behind her, Aliye turned, spotting Anthony, and held a hand up to motion him over quietly. "Something big back there. What are the chances its a bear?"

Anthony and Bluebell had been running through the trails. The dog was off lead, staying not far behind him. As he came around a bend, Anthony slowed to a stop as he saw someone stopped there. His attention shifted as the woman held up a hand and motioned for him. He slid his headphones off the top of his head, letting them rest against his neck and Bluebell followed at his heels, practically on top of them. At her words, he almost held his breath as if it might help him listen. The rustling in the leaves was loud and he he chewed on his bottom lip. "I'm not going to say none." @aliyebalik

Hiring Phoebe had been something that he decided was right for the company that he owned with his brothers. He'd been pleased with all the work she was doing and he was trying to stay hands off. Not wanting to hover but also to make sure that she was still doing alright. "I did just get here." He told her, a smile resting against his lips. "I've been awake for a while now," he admitted with a quiet laugh passing over his lips. "But I went for a long run before coming in." @phoebecarver

Anthony shook his head, "No, I don't have any kids." Though that had been something he wanted, he doubted that it was something that would happen. However, he knew that being an uncle would be a fulfilling role in his life all the same. "I understand," Anthony nodded his head this time, thinning his lips after her statement. "I suppose that means there's not much more of a reason to let this drag on." The man had guessed they'd not be a good a match the moment she sat down, but the fact she planned on high tailing it out of town the moment she could, told him much more. "It was nice meeting you, Cheyenne. Good luck with everything." @cheyennehoffmann

Anthony nodded his head. "Yeah, happy to." There was genuine intent behind his offer. "You can start anytime next week. Whatever works for you." Since she wouldn't be hitting the ground running anyhow, Anthony figured to himself. "You just let me know what day works best for you and I'll make sure to email you over any starting paperwork." Anthony continued, standing up from his seat and extending his hand. "I look forward to having you on the team. Phoebe." @phoebecarver
