“Well I was haphazardly waving my wand around and I kind of managed to make it go a little bit haywire. So if you walk past my room and you hear something trying to knock the wall down, don’t be frightened but definitely don’t open the door.” He always felt a little nervous around Hermione, unsure why. Maybe because of her brilliance; or the fact that her was rather marvelous.

The pure excitement Anthony portrayed when she told him he could have some of her elm was amusing. So, as a result, a small chuckle escaped her mouth as she finished tiding up the space surrounding them. After sliding a few cooking supplies to the other side of the table to make room for some books, she offered him a smile. “Anything, you say? Alright, next time time you Zacharias Smith snooping around in here, make sure he doesn’t make everything a discombobulated mess! This is the third time this week I’ve cleaned up after him, and it’s only Wednesday!” Of course, she was kidding, and she hoped that much was obvious. She didn’t want to give Anthony the task of Zacharias watching, heaven knows how impossible that task was. 

“Follow me, I’ll bring you to my elm.” She began setting off, leaving this room in the reserve and heading outside to central camp. Her quarters were across the way, a bit closer to the infirmary in case of medical emergencies. As she trekked, she aimed to make small talk, though that something she never was quite good at. “Anything new going on with you? I heard there’s another raid being planned.” 

Anthony bumped his side against Astoria's playfully, "Oh, no need to worry about Zac. The next time I sense one little snoop, he'll be shot into the air." He winked at her and helped her tidy up some jumpers that were strewn over the floor, folding them and placing them on a chair at the side. The owner will soon come foraging to find their clothing when it get’s a little chilly. “I blame quidditch, it’s made him a whirling dervish.“ 

Soon running after her like a puppy he was waking next to her. Slowing down his speed a little bit, he’s been told he takes rather big steps that are hard to keep up with. Lucy could never keep up with him, constantly pulling his hand to make him slow down. Looking down he slipped his hand into his pocket, no need for him to leave it out in the open anymore. No one is going to hold it. Looking up he shook his head out of his memories and smiled over. “No, nothing new with me. How about you, Miss Greengrass? Ah, where they planning on going this time? I thought it seemed like one was due.”

“Thank you, Anthony, I really do appreciate it! As long as you avoid staring at the abdomen you should be perfectly fine. Nothing too bloody, though there’s a bit of bo– ahh, perhaps I should stop describing it if it makes you whoozy.” 

“How are you blasé about all of this? I remember when Harry broke his arm and that weird famous professor turned his arm to jelly - I couldn’t eat jelly for a week. Still makes me queasy now.”

“Alright, fair enough, fair enough. Though if you are looking for some coffee allow me to steer you this way. There’s currently some around the fire, we had extra after breakfast this morning. Conflict avoided, caffeination successful.” 

“Well, I wouldn’t argue if I did stumble upon some.” He swiveled round on his heels towards the door. “The organ in my head tends to lay dormant until I artificially stimulate it with beans.” Just as he was about to head out he turned his head back to Ginny, “Wanna come?”

It had been an incredibly hectic day. Another raid was successful in recovering some former classmates, though with that good news accompanied countless hours in the make-shift infirmary mending to all the wounds people may have acquired out in the woods. She was exhausted, and rightfully so, and the only thing she craved was the warmth of her bed, though she hadn’t had a truly comfortable bed in quite some time now. The reserve beds were fine enough, they got the job done, but they failed to compare to mattresses and pillows made of the most comfortable fibers.  

Walking into the room, she began quickly moving things around, making things a bit more orderly. She hated clutter, it was nothing but a distraction to her, so she figured she’d clear things up before hitting the hay, though little did she realize she wasn’t the only one in the room. Soon enough, Anthony Goldstein emerged from a corner, causing her to jump a few inches out of her own skin. “Oh, merlin, you scared the living hell out of me!” Her hand came to clutch at her heart as she took a deep breath to calm down, though a soft smile graced her features soon, despite how tired she may have looked. “Elm, yes, I do believe I have some by my bedside table. I could give you some, no problem.” 

Anthony held his hands up in surrender, inwardly chuckling. That very reaction was the one he was trying to avoid but then again, after a raid someone coming at you in the open light would make you jump 4ft into the air. "Sorry, didn't mean to make you jump." Lowering his hands he tucked his wand into his back pocket, hearing it crack slightly again. As long as it didn't reach the phoenix core, he was good. He smiled at her and rested against one of the worn sofa's. It looked a lot like the one from the Ravenclaw common room, mentally noting to look underneath it to see if it had his and Hannah's names scrawled across the bottom.

Anthony could have done a little dance and kissed Astoria when he found out he could mend his wand, and also keep both of his eyeballs as he was no longer going to frazzle them out of his skull. "Thank-you so much! I need to give you something in return, something -- anything!"
