Inspiration
https://vimeo.com/34061586 — This video does a really great job of portraying the style of Weingart and it showed a few pieces of his work in an interesting way.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IyiDezZAbnc — This is some guy’s CV but it is a really good example of timing being done well.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oC-B1hAow4Q — This video combines video with motion graphics in a cool and interesting way.

Inspiration
True Detective uses a sick parallax double exposure effect that I’d love to figure out how to do.
Monsters, Inc. is timed to music very well and has a fun animation style.
Shadow of the Vampire has a really simple style that I actually could possibly achieve.

Moodboard
Trying to go for that vintagey, retro-futuristic, dystopian, sci-fi nuclear war aesthetic. The book takes place in 2026 but was written in 1950.

There Will Come Soft Rains by Ray Bradbury

This short story is essentially about how once humankind is utterly destroyed because of a war, nature will go on without man. It focuses on a smart house that is going through its daily routine but all of its inhabitants are nowhere to be found. (spoiler: they left to mars)
Music Interpretation
By Dorothy Alfonso, Willow Cook and Anthony Barrios Song used: Crate Digger by Gunnar Olsen

SATISFYING
Newton balls
Water freezing
Shoveling a driveway
That one stitch that disappears
Ripping the perforation off notebook paper
UNSATISFYING
Ink smudging
Messing up flipping a pancake
One pixel of a screen burning out
Cutting a mango and you accidentally slice through it
When you grab a slice of pizza and like all the toppings get pulled off
