Yesterday I tracked guitar, bass, and drums for a song I’m working through. 

Where I fell short in production was not getting any footage of me tracking those parts. I realized this after I finished drums, my primary instrument!! 

It’s sure been a while. Life has rapidly progressed due to the year’s turbulent and unpredictable happenings. 2020 started off fast and hasn’t let up. The pandemic has changed everyone’s lives globally. It’s wild to process the impact.

Empirically speaking, my world has completely changed. 

what I look forward to is the journey ahead. Truth be told this is my opportunity to take what I see in my mind and see it with my own eyes. 

I like analogies. So here’s one I gravitate toward. I view my life as being a ship captain and having to navigate the open seas.  I am responsible for not only self but also my son Rocco. Until the day comes when he set’s sail on his own life journey I have this wildly exciting role to be Rocco’s Dad. I’ve realized that life it self is similar to the ocean. Expansive, terrifying, liberating, magical, unforgiving. 

The ocean has no feelings, yet it’s life itself. 

Naamon Archer- Worked with Producer Kyle Divine engineering 1 track for commercial purposes at Black Diamond Recording Studios. 

Kyle Divine- recorded drum tracks for commercial work. 

Falcon Heart- An assortment of recording projects at practice studio, as well as mixing a live performance for Salem Oregon’s CCTV local artists showcase. 

Lil Purp- Recently signed major label artist tracking hooks while on tour. Session at Black Diamond Recording Studios.

Bitter Buddha- Mobile tracked and mixed 9 songs for demo purposes. 

The Adio Sequence- Mobile tracked, edited, and mixed 1 song at their practice studio. Use was for personal demo and song refinement.

Chris Margolin & The Dead Bird Collection- Recorded and mixed 2 live shows at The Doug Fir.

Sheldon Kreger- Produced and coordinated music video showcasing drum performance. Worked within clients budget to hire film crew, Perception NW, as well as engineering and mixing 2 songs. Recorded at Black Diamond Recording Studios

Davis/Cruz- Local Rap artist recording song with editing and mixing. Worked within clients budget to record, coach, edit, and mix his performance for personal use. Session at Black Diamond Recording Studios 

THA DAY/T-Quest- Local Rap artist recording multiple songs. Worked with client to capture multiple performances, editing, and mixing songs. Session both remote and at Black Diamond Recording Studios.

Young Ant- Local San Francisco artist tracking 1 song to collaborate with other more well known west coast rapper. Session at Black Diamond Recording Studios.

Lost Cat- Recorded, edited, mixed, played drums, for a song at home studio for then Presidential Candidate Bernie Sanders.

Adam Taitano- Recorded demo tracks at home studio, as well as assisted in sessions at Jackpot Recording Studios.

ASSISTANT ENGINEER: Working alongside Chief Engineer, Matt Jefferson at Black Diamond. 

D.R.A.M - Major Label artist came into record multiple songs while on tour. Ensured clients needs were met during session. Assisted in proper microphone selection, routing, and tracking.

Damian- Local Pop band. Responsible for mic placement and routing. Assisted Chief engineer on tracking, editing and mixing of multiple songs

The Unusual Subjects- Local Punk band recording multiple live songs for demo purpose. Assisted in mic selection, placement, and routing. Assisted in editing and mixing of all songs.

The Dead Bird Collection- Local singer/songwriter. Assisted fellow Engineer Chris Ficth on day of tracking instruments. Responsible for capturing performances and overdubs. * recorded and mixed multiple live performances.

Loot- Eugene Rap Artist. Assisted Chief Engineer in editing and mixing of multiple songs.
