From a simple premise where a main character (Lal)'s original sole objective is basically to get a girl to like her, then changes to: get the girl to bed every single time, then finally to get the girl to agree to be her girlfriend, it then morphs into this social commentary on sexism, misogyny, harassment, the patriarchy, but also, over the course of 9 episodes tells us what life is all about: love, loss, sacrifice, pain, suffering, but also, beauty, wonder, joy.

Strangely enough also, it outlines very simply what genuine love can be: mature, less selfish/self-centered, communicative, meeting half-way, taking care of each other, not really becoming one, but growing separately and together.

So, from this really sneaky show that lures you in with promises of spicy scenes every episode, you also get not just a social commentary, but a glimpse of what love and relationships are.
