Hi. My name… is Frisk.

I didn’t want… to kill anybody.

One day, I was wandering alone in the hills, just to have a good time. I was curious. I never understood why climbing the mountain was considered dangerous and forbidden… but I got careless. And tripped.

I fell down a hole… into the sealed realm of monsters.

I was hurt… alone, cold and scared. A human kid in a strange, different world… But I could walk. So I went deeper into the mountain, hoping for an exit. But the monsters were there, too…

First, I ran into a devilish flower who tried to trick and kill me. He told me how stupid I was, for falling for his trap, that it’s either kill or be killed in this world. He hurt me. He cut me.

But then… a nice lady appeared. She was very kind to me, took care of my wounds, she baked me pie… But she didn’t ask for my name. When I told her, that I wanted to go home, she didn’t like that… I had to fight her to proove I’m strong enough to exit the mountain. How could I? I’m just a kid…

I didn’t want to fight her… She hurt me. She burned me. She was so nice first… But I just wanted to go home. Out of anger, my stupid toy knife slipped. And somehow… I killed her.

In the monster realm, I encountered many more. Some knew that I was a human, some didn’t. The ones that knew wanted to kill me. Nobody asked for my name. They hurt me. They attacked me. I didn’t want to fight them but what choice did I have? I was just defending myself. But somehow… I killed them.

I met two skeleton brothers. They were funny, they made me laugh. But they didn’t ask for my name. The taller one wanted to capture me, to bring me to the king, so that he could kill me. I didn’t want to fight him… but I didn’t want to get captured. He hurt me. He bashed me. But somehow… I killed him.

Later, I met the head of the royal guard. She was very strong and very mean… She said to me, that it would be better if I were dead… She didn’t care for my name either… I cried in front of her but she kept laughing and screaming at me. All I wanted from her was to leave me alone… She hurt me. She stabed me. And somehow… I killed her.

After that, I met a scientist lady who constructed a robot to kill humans. The robot was constantly chasing me, it set up deathtraps I barely escaped… at least the scientist helped me with that. None of them asked for my name… But it turned out to be a farce after all. She lied to me. I met the robot on a huge stage and big audience, all cheering for my upcoming execution. The robot was about to kill me for entertainment. I pledged for mercy, please, don’t fight me… It hurt me. It kicked me. Somehow, though… I killed it.

Then I met the king of the monsters. He was big and had a nice smile. He introduced himself but didn’t let me say my name. Though… It was clear that he wanted to kill me aswell. He wanted my soul. He killed many others before me… so that he could destroy humanity. I didn’t want to fight. But I had to. He hurt me. He burned, bashed, stabed and kicked me. But somehow… I defeated him. He said, that I would have to take his soul to get out of the underground.

So I took it.

All I wanted was to get back home. To my family and friends…

I didn’t want to get hurt anymore.

The first time I fought Toriel, I fell for the trap aswell. I didn’t get that I was supposed to spare over and over, I thought that I have to weaken her. After I delivered the last blow I was actually cheering, because the fight seemed rather difficult and I didn’t know that I would actually kill her.

I thought she would stand up again. But she didn’t... Seeing her turn into dust and the soul shattering broke my heart.
