"Shriek?" It takes effort not to laugh in her face. "Well aren’t you edgy. Do people call you that because you’ve got a big mouth?" 

She’s the one laughing now before it settles into a devious little smirk. “Like I said, if y’wanna find out, all you gotta’ do is ask. This eye just ain’t for show, honey.”

"Oh, my bad," Gren says, faking an apologetic tone. "I must have given you the impression that I seriously give a shit."

"You should really watch the language," she tsk'd, getting that motherly tone in her. All she needed was a finger wag.
