And he said he would cover for her, take her to the hospital, pay her bill, when she covered for her sister Claire + said it was her miscarriage instead. He stuck up for her by saying ‘what did you say’ to Martin when he said it was ‘probably for the best’ that she had an early miscarriage. And then of course he stayed behind for her when everyone else had left the restaurant. ‘I’m always there’.
