Before you tried to pull away, his arms tightened around you, and pulled you back.

He buried his face in your shoulder, mumbling softly.

"Don't go.."

"I'm not going anywhere, just wanted to drink water.." You smiled at him.

He started pressing kisses along your neck, down to your shoulder. His hand slid under your shirt slowly, his cold fingertips tickled your stomach.

His lips slowly moved up to your ear, then your jawline.

Before he went further, his phone rang suddenly.

"Tsk, what now?" His expression was annoyed.

He picked up the phone.

Judging by the voice, it was Yan Mo.

Dragon said a few words, before ending the call, and turned to you with a disappointed face.

He looks down, he seemed really sad now. You couldn't help but smile softly, and cover his cheek gently with your palm.

"Another mission..?" You asked quietly.

"Yeah.." He sighed, and wrapped his arms around your waist, laying back down on the bed while hugging you.

He looked at your face for a moment longer, until he broke the silence.

"I'll be back soon.." His sounded softer than usual.

You were at his place, sharing a drink together, and chatting about your problems, just like usually you do..

But, this time you drank too much, more than you usually drink.

X himself was drunk too, but he was in a better state than you.

You stared down at his hand, as he places the drink on the table, and leans back against the couch next to you.

Your heart started to beat faster, especially when your eyes began to roam over him, taking in every small detail you don't usually notice, or.. you do actually, but now it felt different. Probably because of the alcohol effect.

You turned your eyes away from him, looking away, you know damn well that this isn't a good idea. Even though you've been keeping it to yourself for too long now..

Your eyes filled with tears suddenly. You closed your eyes firmly, trying to hold it back.

He noticed the slight tension in your shoulders, and leaned a bit closer to you.

"You okay..?" He asked quietly.

"M.. no.." You mumbled, putting your hand on your forehead.

You didn't wait for him to reply, and stood up, you nearly stumbled.

You're barely standing on your feet, X can see that, so he decided to help you.

"Not sure where are you going, but you need to lay down for a bit. Come on.." He said, as he approached you, keeping a hand on your back, and guided you to his bedroom.

He helped you to lay down, but he didn't leave immediately, he watched you for a moment, before he decided to go (he had to clean the mess in the living room).

He suddenly felt your grip on his wrist, pulling him back, he stumbled and fell down on top of you. Your action left him speechless. He knew you're drunk, but he didn't expect you to act like this..

He looked down at you, you looked beautiful right now, especially the way your eyes were focused on his lips.

He sighed to himself. knowing that he can't let himself just lay down with you right now, just to wrap his arms around you and keep you close, even though he wanted it so bad..

Before he even tried to pull away, you moved your hand to his collar, and gripped on it, pulling his face even closer.

His resolve to resist the temptation was gradually weakening, especially since he was also drunk..

He was frozen for a moment.

He rested his forehead on yours gently, and closed his eyes.

Your breathing is quickening, your heart is pounding loudly in your ears, and your fingers are trembling slightly.

You can feel his warm breaths on your lips, but none of you are closing the distance yet.

He leaned in, just a tiny bit, his nose brushed yours softly, he didn't want this, no he wanted it so damn much, but he was holding back just because it seemed the right thing to do, just like always, but this time his body seemed like it wasn't really listening to him, your lips touched just a little bit, still not kissing yet. He's still holding himself back..

The temptation was too intense at this point, all he had to do now was move his head forward just a little bit. That was all it took to finally kiss you, to feel your lips on his.. he wanted this so badly that his eyes almost filled with tears.. he wanted to hold you close to his chest, bury his face in your shoulder, and tell you how much he adores you, and how difficult it had been to endure this pain and love for years... but he was an idiot. He always chooses silence. Which makes you want to slap him but you can't because he looks too cute, and you wanna devour those cute cheeks.. who wouldn't..?

He finally decided to give up his stubbornness, he was about to kiss you, but no.. he just pulled away, covered you with a blanket, and walked to the door.

He stopped for a moment.

"You need to rest.." He said quietly, before leaving you, alone.

You threw your arm over your forehead, and sighed.

"I really wanted that kiss.. you're such an idiot, Bai Xizhuang.." You mumbled to yourself.

"No, actually I'm a worse idiot than you.."

• It was a simple day, when he appeared in your shop after another fight.

• The first thing that attracted him to your bakery was the delicious aroma coming from the freshly baked pastries.

• Since then, he didn't stop from visiting your bakery, almost everyday.

• He even brought his mother once or twice.

• First it was the pastries, then he slowly started to get attracted to you more than just the food.

And that's how it started..

• He asked you out on a date. You went on two or three dates before he finally asked you if you'd like to date him, and ofc you agreed.

• At the beginning of the relationship, I think he'd be a little shy and awkward, I'm quite sure you're his first girlfriend.

• Why? Simple, he either never had time for relationships, or he didn't care about them really much.

So, being in a relationship for the first time would be a challenge.

• He'll ask his mama for advices 👍

• He's a pit fighter and the boss of the underground fighting arena, he knows he's not the best person, so he's quite insecure about himself.

I also think he'd be afraid of becoming like his father..

• But he'll start being more confident and relaxed after a short while.

• Since you have a daily work at the bakery, he'll make sure to save some of his free time for you.

• He'll visit your bakery, and take the nearest chair to the counter, and chat for hours about his fights and how his day went, or he'll listen to you talk.

• He'll take you out in a nice and quiet place if you had a tiring day.

• Maybe he'll try to show you his cooking skills. He's actually good at it.

• Usually buys bread and other pastries from your shop. Actually not only because he likes them, but also because he wants to remember you and feel your presence even when you're not here. Trust me not in an unhealthy way I swear.. He actually used to do that even before you started dating.

• If anyone dares to say that your pastries are terrible, they should get ready for the punch coming to their face from nowhere.

• Sett is clingy when you two are alone. He always wants to hold you close.

• I think he's the type to call you by your name, sure he uses some of those cute nicknames, but in general he'd call you by your name, because he likes it.

• He won't start talking about his insecurities immediately. He'll wait, first. Not because he doesn't trust you, but because he doesn't want to bother you.

• When he realizes that you actually don't like that he thinks low of himself, he'll start talking to you more often about his problems.

• He likes listening to your heartbeats.

• He'd definitely let you play with his ears. Probably he'll end up blushing, because his ears are too sensitive, so.. be careful. If u know what I mean..

• He likes holding your hands in his. He'd chuckle at the size difference. Come on guys, bro is almost 2 meters, his hand can cover your whole face..

• I think his love languages are physical touch and acts of service, also a bit of quality time.

• He won't wait for long to ask you to marry him. Why should he wait? He loves you and wants to be with you.

• But of course he'd wait if you ask, although he'd feel a little disappointed, but your feelings are more important to him, so he won't rush.

• He'd be the HAPPIEST man in the world when you finally get married.

The door opens slowly with a soft creak, as Ashaf joins you on the balcony.

"I heard her yelling, and crashing noises.. what did you do this time?" You asked quietly, raising an eyebrow.

He leans on the railing next to you, and lights up a cigarette, taking a puff of it.

"I didn't heal her wounds completely. But that's for her own safety. You know that.." He replied.

You just nodded in response, and turned you gaze back to the view outside.

It's late at night, there are only a few lights coming from the buildings around, a few cars passing on the road, it was quiet.

Ashaf didn't say a word, yet.

He glanced at you once or twice, he knows that something's wrong.

"Wanna talk about it..?" He asks with his usual silly smile, but you can hear the softness of his tone, and concern in his voice.

You looked at him for a second before looking down again.

You know damn well that brushing it off or saying anything like "idk what are u talking about" won't work.

"Nope.." You let out a soft breath, barely noticeable.

"Expectable." He muses, taking another drag of his cigarette.

"You always do that. You're hurting me, [Name]." He smiles as he looks at you, noticing that you're not planning to face him.

His voice sounds as he's mocking or teasing you, messing around, typical Ashaf. But the concern was still evident in his voice.

You frowned slightly, not out of anger or annoyance, it was more like -_-

"Are you serious right now..?" Referring to his dramatic tone.

He chuckled softly at your words.

"You're so mean."

Silence settled the air. It was comfortable and intense at the same time.

He knows that you won't talk about it.

He broke the silence.

"How can a person be so stubborn.." He puts on a relaxed expression.

"I'm starting to lose hope."

He's teasing you.

You ignored him.

"Told you many times, don't rush." He chided you for hurting yourself again.

He crouched down next to you, and began to use his magic to heal your wounds.

You leaned your head back on the wall behind you, and let out a sigh.

"Impressive.." He smiled at you.

You looked at him, noticing the usual silly smile on his face.

"What...?" You raised an eyebrow.

"Nothing. It's just that you didn't protest this time." There's a hint of teasing in his voice.

"Ugh.." You groaned, and rolled your eyes.

He chuckled softly at your reaction.

"That's a progress."

"Shut up, please.."

"Can't sleep..?"

You hear Ashaf's voice, as he steps in the room, where you were sitting on the couch, staring at the fireplace in front of you.

"Yeah.." You spoke quietly.

He took a seat beside you, and leaned back, making himself comfortable.

Silence filled the room.

Now there was too much tension.

"Can you not keep silent? Say something.." You said with a small frown, your heart was beating a little faster now.

He let out a soft chuckle.

"Really now? And, what would you like to hear, my dear?" He's teasing you again, but there's a hint of sincerity in his voice. He wasn't just messing with you when he called you "dear".

You avoided his gaze.

"Anything.. just don't stop talking.." You mumbled.

His expression changed a bit.

"Hey, are you okay..?" He leans a little closer, and tilts his head to take a better look at your face.

"I'd be lying if I say no.." You replied in a lower tone.

He smiled warmly at you.

He's always happy when you open up to him, even just a little bit.

He scooted closer, his thigh brushed against yours, but you didn't move away.

"Do you want to talk about it?" He asks you with a gentle look in his eyes.

You shook your head, barely holding back your tears.

It made his heart ache.

He wanted to hug you, or at least hold your hand, but he held back.

He simply stroked a strand of your hair behind your ear, his fingers gently brushing your skin.

"[Name].."

His voice was softer than usual, filled with concern and compassion.

You turned your gaze to him, but you looked down again in a few seconds.

His heart skipped a beat. You looked too cute right now..

He smiled gently, and opened his arms for you.

It's not like you had any other choice, besides, you really needed a hug right now..

He wrapped his arms around you tightly at the moment you leaned against his chest.

His familiar scent filled your nostrils, you can hear his heartbeats, you can feel the rise and fall of his chest with each breath he takes, and the warmth of his embrace.

You relaxed easily, your eyes are closing slowly.

Now you really want to sleep..

He looked down at you, fallen asleep in his arms, your cheek pressed against his chest..

It made him smile warmly.

He planted a soft kiss on top of your head, and picked you up carefully, heading to your bedroom.

He laid you on your bed, and covered you with the blanket. He leaned closer, and pressed another kiss on your forehead.

"Sleep well, my beloved.." He whispered softly.

I need a pro writer to start writing fics for this man :/
