So work as an overnight stocker and usually the shifts are long and boring so I pass the time brainstorming things like I'm writing a Youtube video and then promptly doing nothing with those ideas because I am oddly adverse to social media. Last night though I was mentally planning out some D&D stuff and once such thing was this Undead NPC I plan to introduce, I had him almost planned out I just needed a good voice. And only after I got home did I realize that "HMM maybe mumbling to yourself in a raspy voice about vague goals would've been REALLY weird if anyone heard me".

Tumblr just wins by doing nothing in the social media world these days. Mostly because the people running it know we're unhinged enough that there will be violence if they make dumb changes.

It was last night when I realized Trix cereal's name was likely just a play on Kix cereal. Since it's just a fruity version of the original cereal.

Job hunting is just a speed run on the five stages of grief on a constant cycle. That and an endless debate of "How many hoops will you go though to work minimum wage" and slowly creeping towards "Find an apartment and move hours away".

I have been a live-in cat sitter for my mother for a week and being the center of his focus as he went from "Alright human, imma sleep. Let me know when my favorite servant returns" to "Alright new favorite human, I will check in on you every hour and affix myself to you so you understand that you are my favorite being. And tough shit if you're doing anything, like eating, working, sleeping. It's cat time!" in two and a half days with it only escalating has been an experience.

It's been a year since I graduated, I'm still struggling to get a job and my family is now telling me to "Think about what you want to do with your life". And all I can think is "I KNOW what I WANT to do with my life. I didn't spend 4 years studying Game Design because I was unsure about my desires. What I want is any job that pays a minimum wage since god forbid this degree can actually get me a job in this field and I need some income while I spend the next 4 years making a game from scratch by myself!"

It has been 5 years since YouTube Shorts happened and my verdict is "I feel like nothing from that side of YouTube got better but I guess it's less bad". I think it's less the content's gotten intrinsically better but rather since short creators are just clipping others work and stealing other shorts creators content it just better by proxy.

I feel like humanity has become worse after 2020...clearly we are all feral pigs and now that we have discovered how to do everything digitally away from everything else we have regained our ancient instincts of steal things, eat the rich, and hit things no like with rock. Y'know I was going to say we need to stop but typing it out loud I wanna live like that. TO THE WOODS!

So, I got together with with some friends since one was moving to Maine to be with their SO and most of the chat was the expected talking about hobbies and when they think they may be visiting town again. The stand out moment of all this banter however was all of us coming to the agreement that Elf 2, should it ever exist, would be Buddy coming to terms with his homosexual awakening.
