How do i tell my boss i need a vacation?

I am feeling really nostalgic about cartoons but when I watch Dexters Laboratory it just isn't the same, I just want to love cartoons again but I'm adult. What should I do.

Hey Doc, what's the haps? How do you predict when something is going to be fullfilling vs something that will bring only temporary joy? For example, one could work for a year towards a major goal and upon completion only feel a moments satisfaction. In contrast, that same person is warmed by the memory of a trip to the Drive-in theater with their first love, years ago. A day that should have been so ordinary holds more value in that persons heart than their life's work. What gives?

i have two cats. all my pals hate my favourite cat and like the other one. they say my favourite one is fat and mean and i am unreasonable in my dislike of the other one. but the fat one is more chill, even though he's kind of a douche. he reminds me of garfield the cat. the other one tries a bit too hard to get me to like her. the weight of her expectation is too much. the other one doesn't care and I like that about him. also he's a better cuddler. am I a sociopath? why do I hate the nice cat?

everytime I look at my oven to see what time it is, there is something blocking the clock! Could be a pot, a kettle, the pepper grinder or something that shouldn't even be on the stove. Seriously though, every. fucking. time. Super annoying. Got a song for that?
