A Day Late and a Dollar Short
A classroom of the elite fanfiction, Manabu Horikita/ Kiyotaka Ayanokouji
I â lost a minute everytime I blinked. I had been working on a proposal for a new student council policy, and I wanted to make sure that it was perfect. But the effects of the long hours started to wash over me. The tree branches; curious against the window pane, urging me to take a rest. I had been going over the proposal to make sure that every detail was correct, I hadn't even noticed how late it had gotten. My eyes were starting to droop, and my head was starting to ache. my thoughts immediately drifted to my sister, Suzune. She was in Class D, the lowest-ranked class in the school.I shook my head to clear my thoughts. I couldn't afford to dwell on such whimsies.
I worked for another hour, until the pile of paperwork was finally gone. I sat back in my chair, feeling drained. I had done it. I had finished all of the work. But even though I was tired, I didn't feel satisfied. I knew that there would be more work tomorrow. And the day after that. And the day after that.
I stood up from my desk and grabbed my blouse to leave. Upon locking my door, I heard a sound emerging from somewhere down the hall. It got louder and louder until clearly heard. It was a violin. But I had never heard anyone play the violin in school before.I followed the sound of the quivering violin, the strings were plucked once more then sounded like
a ripping galvanized iron roof, a shriek, and then a deep tone that sounded like a dying wolf. It was a captivating piece, beginning and end played on the cello.âI âhesitated for a moment, but then pushed the door open and stepped insideâ. The performer played as if the room was empty except for himself, It felt like I was the mirror inside his room. Then as the last strokek left the strings, I foundn my hands clapping.
â"That was good."
Ayanokoji lifted himself from the stool. It was an empty music room, except for the two of usâ. "I didn't know that you played the cello."
â"I was just practicing." how easily humbled he would make himself sound. "I see, maybe then later you could show me your calligraphy skills, as a secretary of the student council"
He lifted his head ever so slightly, that uninterested feeling still reflected in his eyes.â "Of course, you already declined my offer."
â"I'm sorry" his hollow voice echoed in the space between us. I silenced, waiting to feel it disappear whole through the walls. âWhatever it was between us, I wanted it gone like that echo.
â"There's no need to be" I stepped closer, so he could hear my whisper. "How about a proper duel with me next time?"
âHis eyes were still unmoved. I chuckled, "It's usually empty around 6pm."  Ayanokoji, those eyes of yours will look at me with more interest. "I'll be waiting".

Classroom Of The Elite Gossip Girl
I am considering making this a series if you like it, so please do not hesitate to let me know. There a few questions below related to the story so pay attention while you read to answer them.
The story starts on the Cruise ship test after the VIPs have been chosen.
It was the third day of the Zodiac test. And the Gossip girl had hit again. No one really knows who this mysterious messenger is, but it is believed that they can see the future, at least according to the rumors. The first time I received a message from Gossip girl, it said: class D will not receive 100,000pts at the end of the month. And that same text was sent to everyone in my grade. And as the message foretold, we never did. Everyone in my class and across my grade was equally shaken, and as if messing with us, another message appeared on our cruise ship to the island, it said: Class D will dominate. And it did, just as the message foretold.Â
Thereâs one theory in the class C leaderâs head: X is the Anonymous messenger Gossip girl. For him, there could be no other possible solution. He knew a mastermind was pulling Class Dâs strings from the background but was yet to know who. He would look for a plan later, and unmask X who he also thinks is the Gossip Girl.
Today, the Gossip Girl sent a new Gossip to all the students on the ship: Class A will end up rock bottom, Was all it said. Now every single student in class A was starting to doubt Kasturagiâs strategy to win this. On the third round of the zodiac meetings, class A students seemed very uneasy. None of the Gossips from the Gossip Girl had been false, so it means:
âClass A folks are losing it.â
Kushida told Ryuuen during their secret rendez-vous. He thought that this woman wanted to feed him information on X, but she had no knowledge of the person controlling Horikita in the shadows. Useless, he thought, but she proposed a deal with him, she was ready to betray her class to get Horikita expelled, and to prove her sincerity she sold him her identity as one of the class Dâs VIPs.Â
âI wish they could mess with Horikita a bit more.â
The Gossip Girl had an immense power that they might have not been aware of. A single gossip could lead to total chaos, and the class leaderâs would have a hard time controlling their class. By saying that, Kushida wanted more gossip about class D to give Horikita a hard time, something Ryuuen admired about her, this malevolence that knows no bounds. But people like her end up being sheep for the bigger prey.Â
On the day of the results Class A ended up last with 0pts. Kasturagi was a trash leader, and Ryuuenâs class was on top of the ladder, as the gossip foretold. Class A is in chaos, and as the walls fall in front of my eyes, I watch silently as though not there. Now, the real plan can begin.
I opened my phone, multiple messages already sent in my inbox asking about who I am and how I know so much. On the top right, I opened another gossip tab. Knowledge isnât free. And pressed send. Now, I will wait. On the next exam, I will sell info to the class that bids the highest. With this, at the end of my third year IÂ will have exceeded the 20 million points that will allow me to switch to the class that will be A upon graduation. And only then, will I be able to return back home.
In which class do you think Gossip Girl is in?
What do you think of Gossip Girlâs 20 million plan?
Which character would you like Gossip Girl to be?

Yuuichi Katagiri X Classroom of the elite
The olympia was filled with loud screams from all corners, the first, second and third years were participating in the Sports festival. The first years were eager and thrilled at having their first ever sport âcompetitionâ as it was a chance for those who werenât academically gifted to shine at at last. Katagiri Yuuichi of class C stood unmoved by the cheerful aura around him, so did the rest of his class. Ryuuen was planning to sabotage the exam and put class D at a disadvantage. He has scared a girl who sat next to him in class into complying with his schemes, and he was unhappy about it.Â
Yuuichiâs throat had dried up so he left the small group of his class to get some water from the vending machine. He felt a sense of relief as he left the grass, stepping on the cold concrete floor that led to the larger buildings. He approached the vending machine on the side if the stairs and had a bottle of water.Â
âHello there, youâre from class C arenât you?â The person who called out to him was Sakayanagi. He hadnât noticed that she was sitting on a bench near him the whole time, but he ignored her. âfufu, are all class C students like this? what a pity. I was hoping to pass some time with a friendly chatter.â Yuuichi too, knew that this was just one of her ways to get rid of boredom, and he wouldnât flatter her by entertaining her any more or less. âWhat do you think of your leader? if you donât mind answering.â Yuuichi felt the urgent need to sigh. He had been laying low in his class with very average grades and didnât mind business that didnât concern him, and for that he had managed to step away from Ryueenâs predator gaze, but to say that he wasnât bothered would be a lie itself. He glanced over at the clock on his wrist, it had been ten minutes since he left.Â
âI donât mind him.â he said, now eager to strike a conversation. Sakayanagi, though she didnât show it, was slightly surprised by the calmness in his voice. He sounded mature, like he had lived a life differrently from any teenager at their school. She felt impressed by her analysis and looked at him from her cup of hot tea. âI was surprised to hear the results of the Cruise ship test, and the island test as well. It seems like the lower ranks are really doing their best.â At this, Yuuichi couldnât tell whether she was mocking or mocking. but he was sure it was both.Â
âThen you should watch your back, you might get dethroned from your position if you lay low for too long, Sakayanagi-san.â
âOh my, did you perhaps feel insulted by my comment? I apologizeâ she said, feeling bigger again, not a single ounce of apologetic remark in her voice. She sipped her cup satisfied, as if this young man wasnât mature anymore but a child in her eyes again for grieving under her game. Yuuichi remarked this, but he didnât want to disrupt her moment of ode. He simply left, silently, as if he hadnât been there in the first place.Â
Yuuichi would participate in the tag of war and 1200m dash. This of course was the conclusion made by his class leader. Ryuuen did have a little doubt about Yuuichi. He had well defined muscles and he seemed sturdy than any average guy. But unfortunately, he scored a 40 on grip strength. It wasnât enough to lower his guard though, Ryuuen was vigilant, as if waiting for him to emerge. He had after all, taken time to investigate the grip machine and ensure no errors were made, and felt slightly reassured when he came to this conclusion âhe was averageâ.
So far, things were smooth. Ryuuen was messing up with Sudo, which would enrage him and perhaps make him quit the game. Yuuichi saw through Ryuuen and he felt a bit concerned about what he might do without restriction from the Rules--âNo violenceâ that is. It was time for the tag of war, and class C won thanks to Albert. A few moments later, A class C student was âgravelyâ injured and Class Dâs captain Horikita Suzune was called urgently to the infirmary room. Yuuichi watched her as she left the compound.
It was time, 1200m dash. Yuuichi was standing on the far end of the track, on his side stood two other students from different classes and grades, and shortly after them was the student council president, Manabu Horikita. He stood alongside another first year student whom Yuuichi was yet to know the name.Â
There was a gun shot that startled Yuuichi, and they all raced.

Time for regret 2
The next morning you stood outside your class, unable to open the door on your own. Your moment was cut short by the footsteps of aw certain teacher who was headed your way. You quickly opened the door to leave but it was too late as she had, long gone noticed your presence. âGood morning.â A simple introduction, yet you stuttered as you answered. âG-Good morning, sensei!âÂ
whatâs wrong with me today? you thought as Chiyabashira-sensei passed and entered the class. You took in your surroundings, quickly noticing your close friends smirking at you. You gulped. Hard and dry.Â
âSit.â
You calmly reached for your seat as the teacher instructed. âTodayâs lesson will be...â You were unable to concentrate as the fear of the clock striking twelve ran through your veins.
___
âSo? How did it go?â Satou reached to your table before you could run for lunch. A small crowd had started to swarm around you and you got even more nervous. So this was what it was... You gulped, as if swallowing the words âI got rejectedâ. You couldnât bring yourself tp say it. One of the popular girls in class, the girl with beautiful looks, was rejected by a guy like him. Never.
âHe said yes, obviously.â
Satou and Shinohara exhaled in disappointment as they realized that they lost the bet. Karuizawa didnât seem to care as she heard the conversation whilst scrolling through her phone, Matsushita smiled apologetically at the two girls who were dramatically diving the 100,000 points that they would pay you for wining.Â
âBut, that means that youâre like, a couple now?â Karuizawa glanced at you from her phone, disinterested.Â
You shook your fear and smiled at her, âItâs okay, Itâs not like I like him or anything.â you announced. Matsushitaâs eyes sparkles as new challenge arose, âThen, I dare you to keep the relation going for at least two monthsâ You felt your knees drop.
âTwo months?â You repeated, hoping that it was just a mindless joke, but Matsushita looked serious.Â
âThink about it, new couples are born every now and then, but the hardest thing in a relationship is maintaining it. So I say, you get the other part of the reward if you keep dating him for at least two monthsâ
âI-I donât think I want to date Ayanokouji-Kun for even a day.â one reason being that you werenât actually dating. âHeâs so boring, I would get embarrassed if people know of it.â and the fact that, you werenât actually dating.
âCome on~ Me and Shinohara-sanâs points barely add up to 100, 000 points anywayâ Satou complained.
âAnd we can keep a secret, you can trust us right?.â Shinohara begged with her hands.
âI donât know guys, I donât want to do it.â You said with an apologetic tone.
âWell, it would be weird if you suddenly break up with him after confessing how much you love and want to date him, no? I would find it weird if I was him.â Karuizawa said.Â
âRight? You donât really have choice~â Matsushita chimed in. âBesides, I would like to date a pretty girl longer than a day.â
âYouâre really?...ugh, fine I guess.â You said as you couldnât bring the thought of losing your friends over a simple bet.
___
âHey, Ayanokouji-Kun~â
For the first couple of weeks you had been chasing after him after class every day, hoping that he would t least look at you differently. But this guy, you have never seen him smile even once. It brought a feeling of anxiety in you. How could you ever win the heart of a man who doesnât let himself out to smile. He was so mysterious, almost as if he didnât exist when he sat in the corner of the class.Â
He turned to your figure, his eyes revealing nothing but darkness. âUm...where are you headed to?â You asked, almost scared that his stare would eat you up.Â
âDo you need anything?âÂ
Maybe it wasnât even worthwhile to ask him out again. You could somehow convince Horikita to lessen everyoneâs curious questions by telling them that the two of you were really dating, but then again Horikita being Horikita could never agree to it.
âCan we talk again? If you have time, I want to tell you something.â You did well not to stutter under that gaze. He waited, as if taking something in consideration. Maybe he would reject you again, but you couldnât let that happen twice.
âLook, I might not be your type but my looks are beyond average. I can even give you popularity, points, whatever you want just name it, but please, date me, only for two months...please.âÂ
You waited as you stood in the empty silent hallway. Nothing came from him for the first lord-knows-how-many seconds
âIf you can beg like that, you might actually be of good use.â
You shivered at his words,Â
âWhat?â leveling up your head to look at him clearly, you lost sight of the usual Ayanokouji.
âFine, Iâll date you if thatâs all you want, and In return, you will do every thing I ask of you. fail, you can forget this conversation ever happened.â
Wait, what!? was he actually making this all about himself now! Does he think I'll die if he doesnât date me? All your life you had met arrogant guys who thought they were better off without you after rejecting them, but heâs going to boss you around because he thinks he has the upper hand?
Well, you do need him to be your pretend-boyfriend, so itâs a fifty-fifty situation and you wonât have to owe him anything after two months.
âAs long as itâs not anything risky, itâs a deal.â You wanted to shake hands in mutual agreement, but part of it disgusted you so you just passed the hallways and left through the stairs.
Those two months would be the longest you ever lived.
Class E: Elites
In this fanfic, the advanced nurturing high school has an additional class; class E, consisting of special students.Â
warnings: contains names of real anime characters that I donât own, credit to the original mangaka. The names and the OCs of this fic are different people, do not confuse them with the real characters! I just thought it would be easier to have names you already know to avoid mixing up characters.
It was in a perfectly well-lit hallway that stood a mob of students waited outside the room named class D. On their front door, well before anyone, stood a lone student of short blue hair and chromatic eyes. She had a vibrant smile on her face with an aura alike that of an innocent child.Â
âOhto Ai, I am the leader of class E! Whatâs this? Youâre class D right? I thought we could introduce ourselves since we are all the defects of the school.â
âHuhâ!? Who are you calling defects? Punkâ
In a far corner stood a red haired boy named Sudo with a red face and a fist in hand. He was however directly intimidated by the crowd that leaned all over the classâ windows as they stared at him intently. A second young boy stood up with a gentle smile and directed his gaze at the leader in front of him.
âWhat business do you have with our class?â
âStraight to the point I seeâŚAs you all know, this yearâs class D was bigger than the previous years, and thus they created two classes for all 80 students to fit in, calling the second class âEâ. It has already been four months and yet we have been operating like two different classes. Isnât it heart-breaking, Hirata-Kun?â
âThatâs why we are here today, we want to cooperate and make up for the time we lost.â he said, âI am Yagami Light, the secretary of the class. Pleasure to meet you all.â
âCall me L. Vice president.â he said
âEnoshima Junko, the advisor.â she said.
âKatagiri Yuuichi, Internal Conflict Manager.â he said,
âNanami Sakura, you can say I kick butts of those who approach president here.â she said.Â
âI am Jabami Yumeko, the communicator. Any information that you wish to tell any of the committee or class members must be directed to me, if not, then it will be considered irrelevant.â
The classroom erupted in whispers at the last introduction, in a way, it sounded more of a âpresidentâ position than a communicator. And it wasnât just her, the class had had suspicions on other positions as well,Â
âThatâs all for today, If you have anything you wish to tell us please donât hesitate to come over our class. Now we leave!â declared Ohto in a state of enthusiasm.
The class D was left bewilder as the mob of forty students that had accompanied the committee members of class E left at once. Horikita, Hirata and Kushida had abnormal expressions on their faces while multiple students exchanged words among themselves.Â
This class would certainly be different than the rest of us. They thought.Â
â
âHirata-Kun? What brings you here?âÂ
Jabami stood outside her class with Hirata who had made the journey all up to class E to have a discussion with the class leaders.Â
âI am sorry but as I had said previously, no one will communicate to the president directly. All information must be passed through me. Donât even try sneaking up on the president, Sakura is not a very gentle person!â she giggled, âSo, what is it?â
âI see, well my classmates and I would like to know how you will be contributing to the special Island exam that the teacher announced.â
âOh really? WellâŚâ Jabami pondered on his question with a finger squeezing her chin. She pounced as her eyes lit up with an idea in mind.
âWe can take turns!â
Hirata was sent in partial confusion of what she suggested. Taking turns? This wasnât some childâs play, he points would contribute for each of their class as they are considered as one class by the school.Â
âWell, taking turns might be a bit difficult, and you were the ones who insisted on cooperating with each other last time, so I was thinking that we could work together as a team.â
Jabami listened carefully before releasing a sneaker that wasnât supposed to be as loud. âOh, sorry but, youâre really are dumb Hirata-Kun!â she chuckled âYou really think that my class will cooperate with yours? Thatâs absurd. We just wanted to make formal introductions to everyone as people of the same class. But did we say anything about cooperating together?â
Hirataâs eyes widened in realization, these people had never planned to cooperate in the first place. Then why the whole drama in their class three weeks ago? The question Hirata had on his mind was never answered as Jabami was long gone.Â
â
âGood work on the island, Hirata-kun.â
Ohto was the first to approach him on the ship back to school, a little while after the zodiac test was announced, she was searching up and down for him. Who could have thought that he was standing by the railings wondering his mind over the ocean.
âWhat is it that you want this time?â he asked, Hirata turned his head slightly not bothering to take in her whole figure; completely different from his usual demeanor. Ai noted in her head âeveryone has a double personality in class D it appears.â
âI wanted to inform you that we will take on the lead in the zodiac test since itâs our turn now.â She declared, âAre you okay?â she had asked expecting nothing less than a vague excuse to escape the conversation, to which Hirata surprisingly answeredÂ
âNot really.â he stated, you could see the hint of melancholia in his eyes. Ai nodded her head and directed herself from where she came from, followed shortly by her bodyguard âSakuraâ.
âWhat are you planning to do next?â Sakura asked Ai as they reached more private location. She had been itching to ask her since the announcement of the new special exam.
âMe? I donât give the orders.â she sighed, âIâll have to wait for what class president will decide and act on her behalf.âÂ
It appears that Ai wasnât the real leader of her class.

Gambling, Gambling, GamblingÂ
The world revolves around this action. There isnât a single time where you havenât bet your life, money, friends or even career for something else;better than what you initially had. You go for more money. Isnât it ironic? People are chasing paper that changes value as soon as you spend it.Â
It's Greed.
Yes, greed.Â
And I have a whole lot of it. I would do anything for money. You must be wondering: why? So iâm going to tell you; Itâs power. Money is the power toâEverything! You can never lose in this world as long as you have money! countless amount of it and you can: rule the world, but a whole continent, corrupt the government, change the law!...Isnât it beautiful?
So why would it be wrong for me to be greedy? Itâs not wrong for me to want those things with all my might; so I gamble my life for it â but people think iâm crazy for that.
I enrolled in ANHS to disconnect myself from the world. It is the only school that doesnât allow communication outside the school. I wasnât particulary running away from anything, I wanted a new change of environment, away from the people I know; specifically my family.Â
Now those people are not humans, but thatâs a story for another time. All you have to know right now, is that I have a dream goal, a goal that only this school can grant me. The only issue however, is that I have to graduate from class A no matter what. I didnât know that the school ranked their students based on ability. Apparently those in class A are âelitesâ and those in class D are âfailuresâ, the good part is: I am a member of that âeliteâ class, the other part is: âAyanokojiâ of class D.Â
I have eyes that can see â unlike these lots, but who can blame them? I know very well that he is the X that class Câs leader had been searching. I wasnât sure at first, but then Sakayanagi had to boil the water by giving him 40 protection points, âhow cleverâ is my sarcastic remark to her âmaiden in loveâ approach. I didnât want to catch unecessary attention to myself which is why I gathered my own bits of data from the shadows.
I donât know what drives his motivation, but iâm sure he has a wish deep down in his heart. We are all humans after all, we have dark secrets that we donât want anyone else to know about. Perhaps being a agenius had itâs own problems in itself, but itâs not like I would know, right? Iâm just an average teenager in a quest to fulfill a goal, like a main character of some anime serie. But iâm not the main character and surely you know better.Â
I just want to end up graduating in class A to create a better world. But my picture perfect might be a nightmare to everyone else, yet I donât care with every single piece of meat inside of me. I will do everything to achieve it, and that incluses using all the cards I possess in my hands.Â
I told you before right?Â
that I gambled my life.
Lifetime rivals AyanokojixOC
I always sat at the back, quietly observing him for years we spent in the white room, and never had he noticed; at least I think he didnât. He wasnât anything special, I just assumed everyone was praising him because he was the directorâs kid and that he just happened to have more endurance than the twelve students who had already dropped out. So I waited for him to crack.

A classroom of the elite fanfiction
He regrets.
Itâs written all over his face. After all, who wouldn't regret the failure to bring a promising genius under his wing? Anyone. I wonder what made him special, he was plain with a straight poker face and didnât like to have much social interactions with people. He looked normal and yet, he was such a mystery.
Ayanokouji, he was just too different.
Manabu shuffled through the last couple of papers with a sigh, rubbed his his temples and then proceeded with work. He would be tired on orange skies like these, especially on Friday.
Time For Regret
Ayanokoji x f!reader
Classroom of the elite fanfiction
It has been days since Karuizawa and Satou asked you to date that one particular guy in your class, and it had to be the socially awkward type of person. Well, for a social butterfly like you It wouldnât be hard right? You did nothing but talk with friends from morning to evening, not even left with a little bit of time for yourself.Â
âBut Kei, I never even talked to him. Wouldnât this challenge be more convenient for someone like Horikita?â
Alas, you had no courage to confront the dare that these two had given you. You were like this, easily overpowered by social pressure. After 3 years of middle school bullying you turned from the overconfident caring type to the non-empathetic two-faced person you are.
âCome on, you have to at least try. If not, weâll have to switch with truth!â
Anything but that. You had way too many secrets.
âFine then. Iâll tell him after class.â
With no choice but to accept, Sato and Kei cheered in the air and jumped on cold concrete floor near your desk. You couldnât help but worry when the person who had been escaping your little whisper chats finally appeared through the doors and to his seat.
