It started out as an etiquette for a whiskey bottle that by friend got for his bithday, but afterwards I worked on the colours and background and now we have a winter bear!

Finnish language has loads of more or less expressive proverbs and several to politely suggest that someone is not completely sane. One of my favorites is the one about indians in a canoe. That is, if I say “He doesn’t have all the indians in the canoe” I mean that he’s a little bit nuts. Not much, just a little.

Sparkling etiquette for my friend’s present, which (surprisingly) was sparkling too.

I’ve worked with Factor Nova, a company who arranges professionally large events. I’ve designed invitations, teasers and loads of props for the actual events. This case was a company party with a theme “Night of Magic”.

Helsinki Poetry Connection organises Open Mic events called Kiiski Open Mic. During the past few years I’ve deigned a few posters for them and this is one of my personal favourites. A messy bunch of letters poured out of a pen. 

Mapita is a company who produces map based questionnaires and i designed icons for their needs. It was quite a challenge to design 40 icons with meanings such as “I want a new park here”, “This is where I hangout with my friends” or “This is where I’ve hurt myself”. This preview is actually a screensaver but you can see a good selection of the icons there. 

Christmas decoration and especially the balls that are hanged on the christmas tree have lots of good qualities but the best of all is their shape. And I take advantage of the round theme year after year while making the greeting cards for the Christmas. Here’s the one from 2014.

Illustrated my hometown, Helsinki.  My original task was to write a City Guide -article about the Helsinki for N WIND -magazine and after finishing the text, I drew this. The text was published but the illustration rejected. The mag can be found online in Lithuanian and English in www.nwindmag.eu.

I made a load of banners for Energiaremontti, here’s one. Energiaremontti is a campaign aiming to renew the Finnish energy production and make Finland use 100 % renewable energy sources. And they’re doing great job! In case you’re interested, learn more in www.energiaremontti2015.fi.

T-shirt print I designed in spring 2014 for CISV, a global organisation whose statement of purpose appears in the design. 

While living in Vilnius I often passed by a graffiti with these words that stuck in my head and inspired a poster two years afterwards.

Dear friend and fantastic poet Lasse Hauerwaas went to Germany for two weeks, wrote a bunch of poems and brought them to me. The end result fits in a pocket.
