Collections of an Imperfect Being

Always. Forever. Loyally. 

Having graduated last year, but still living in my college town, I had sisters that were 5 years out of college and sisters who were just starting college at my wedding. It was awesome that women who hadn’t met yet could already see how much they had in common, and how unending this chain of friendship can be. I will forever cherish the life long friends that this sisterhood has brought me-- including S I X of my eight bridesmaids (my actual sister and sister-in-law were the other two, so it was pretty cool to say that all of my bridesmaids were my sisters). On top of all the love I felt at the reception with 40-odd sisters there, I had help the whole day long, too. After planning tons of recruitment events and preference nights, my sisters had the whole venue decorated in under an hour. Thank God for these people. 

I had a very Sigma Kappa wedding. It was so awesome to get to carry five of my bridesmaid’s pins during the ceremony. I also wore a pearl ring on my pinky, an Upsilon chapter tradition. The only other time I wore my pearl ring was on the day I was initiated into this beautiful sisterhood.
