I had just gotten home from working at the bar. I made the decision to go sober mid shift, and then had a couple of mezcal shots with my coworker. I was having shots all night. My heart feels heavy. I thought it was because of a person, but now I think it’s just me. Later that night, I cried on my floor next to all my clutter because ChatGBT helped me realize that I’ve been living with the belief that love is to be earned. This whole time, I’ve been trying to earn love from others, and especially myself.
