And Percy?? is so fucking excited. Ok, yeah he's scared, he's freshly 18 and gonna be a dad and he's a super powerful demigod, and he is technically the baby of his dad's side of the family, so his family is gonna freak out, but. Luke is having his baby?

They try to keep it hidden for a little while, until Luke is ready to tell others, (Annabeth and Thalia), but it's fairly obvious to anyone around what is happening. Percy can't stop watching Luke even more now, and Luke is wearing baggy tshirts and is so fucking tired all the time.

Finally Annabeth comes to camp for a visit, and so Luke can pull her aside and be like 'you should be the, well.. the first ish to know, doesn't matter, Annie, you know I'm an omega yeah?' and she did NOT know that, but she is like 'ok?' and he's like 'so. I'm pregnant. And it's Percy's.' And she is like.... blank faced for a moment, but when it all clicks she's like 'ohhhhhHHHH that makes sense, he's always looked at you Like That. He wants a big family you know, so you better have twins first and get a head start.' and Luke is like '??? I can't Make Sure It's Twins Beth???' and she is like 'well, how far along are you? cause if it isn't like, that far, you can go on a roller coaster-' 'Annabeth!!' Luke's face is bright red, and he's like 'I'm probably too far along for that' but he like, files that away for the next time when they actually try, instead of this happy accident baby.

Once Annabeth knows, they have to wait for Thalia to show up, and when the hunters do show up and Luke tells her, she is.... well, she marches right up to Percy while Luke follows along with his hands raised like 'Thals, pls, I love him,' but she is having none of it, and Percy gets the shovel talk to end all shovel talks lmao. She is more upset that Luke and Percy didn't tell her they where together until a baby was involved then about The Baby. as soon as she calms down she turns to Luke with a huge smile, and is like 'I'm gonna be an aunt! I have to get a fir for them, what kind of fir do you want?'

She turns and hugs Percy then too, and then sits with Luke.

And then they tell Sally. They didn't mean to leave her third, but they knew she wouldn't be.... too upset about it. She knows as soon as they walk through the door too, she's like 'how far along are you Luke? You do know that they are gonna look just like Percy, right?' and they are both sputtering, and the Percy is crying? for some reason? and Luke is like, 'oh fuck I've only seen him do this TWICE', and he starts crying cause hormones, and then Sally is pulling them into a hug.

Luke is actually really excited for their baby too look like Percy.

I wish I could draw, cause I would 100% draw Luke with their baby. Their baby has the chunkiest cheeks ever, and you just know Luke is one of those dads who loves give their baby cheek kisses, and make their little face smoosh. And the first time Percy sees Luke getting their baby to have a giggle fit he is like 'i wanna put another baby in you' and Luke is like '1). hot 2). Not Yet.'

Ugh, Percy and baby napping??? baby asleep on Percy's chest while he is so gently holding them?? Percy holding them on his arm?? their little head cupped in his hand?? while his other hand rubs along their back? Walking around camp like that cause baby needs tummy time but they are both a little busy and they are way too protective of them to let someone else watch baby.

I have a headcanon of what lukercy's first kid will be named,,, in every au, their first baby is named Ollie, (Oliver for a boy Olivia for a girl). Ollie Castellan-Jackson is the most spoiled legacy ever btw, every person at both camps knows them. Oh man, one of Annabeth's siblings makes Ollie little cbh and CJ onesies out of tshirts for them to wear in the summer......

I think in a perfect au, Luke and Percy only come back to camp in the summer and travel a lot during the rest of the year. UUUGH Luke and Percy hiking with Ollie, wearing those slings?? and hiking gear?? and Ollie in little sunglasses??? The selfies they would take together on the top of mountains?? (Luke 'hanging' over the side of a cliff [it's got a ledge he's FINE] with Ollie sitting there and they send to the group chat with a 'not again' caption. Thalia is PISSED.)

... this started as omega-verse and is kinda just... a bunch of my headcanons about Luke and Percy as parents.... ooops...

Going back to pregnant Luke, oh my gosh, Percy doing that thing where he holds up the baby bump for Luke, and Luke just starts purring, and he does it one time in front of some of Luke's siblings, and all of them are just like :O !!!!

and and and... Luke getting Percy to get him late night snacks. Percy showing up at the gas station closest to camp in the middle of the night, bed head and two different slides on his feet. and the worker is just like 'oh hey man. Your omega wants honey buns again?' and Percy just throws a 20 on the counter like 'give me 6 of them fuckers.'

They would stay at camp while Luke is pregnant so they don't have to worry about fighting monsters during the pregnancy, but Percy is 100% confidant that he can protect all three of them, eventually all 5 of them, while Luke gets the kids to safety. (he can. This is a happy au.... maybe also an au where their scents are strongest as teens and they can all live pretty well after they hit 20 without monster attacks.)

Can you share some moments where Percy dotes on Luke? Anything really, just want to see Luke being pampered. Like maybe right after when Luke is feeling self-conscious about his new omegahood. Or maybe when Luke and Percy reunite after the HOO battle? Maybe a nice fatherly scene with Hermes :')

Going from alpha to omega...how would Luke be feeling especially with the dubcon elements involved? The hormones must be killing him.

Hermes suddenly being super protective of his now omega baby. Every time Percy looks at his son, he has an aneurysm.

Luke suddenly having to deal with omega sexism and discrimination because he forgets he's not an alpha anymore sometimes and it puts him in vulnerable or embarrassing situations. Like maybe he doesn't command the same respect anymore and when Percy steps in to defend him he feels ten times worse because at one point this little alpha brat looked up to him.

Luke must be going through a lot. Hope Percy is pampering him properly.

I think Luke is best described as just resigned to his fate. Luke could talk himself into anything, even sacrifice his own life, as long as it's for the good of all demigods. Percy has good ideals (see: cabins for minor gods) so Luke doesn't mind being with him long term.

Their first time was very dubcon and traumatizing for both of them. Since they had to rush the process, Luke went through a nasty disregulated hormone phase for a while, similar to a post-partum depression. Annabeth was his entire emotional support until he balanced out. She also helped them talk it out once Lukercy started developing real feelings for each other.

Luke and Percy agreed to act very Master/Slave while in public, but actually they're quite affectionate when in private. Hermes doesn't know about this tho, so Lukercy occasionally do couple-y stuff just to mess with him.

Hermes is particularly pissed coz despite Luke's flaws, he was actually quite proud of him? Like c'mon, he's THE lightning thief? Best swordsman in 300 years? That's some bragging rights there. Seeing him reduced to Percy's brood mare is driving Hermes nuts.

luke's been disappearing off ever since he returned and the smell always lingered on his clothes. so, when a beaten down, hurt, angry percy comes back he follows luke one day because, as much as percy doesn't really want to admit it, luke's the only one that'll understand how he feels in that moment

If it’s not severe Percy just gets up in Luke’s space, shoves himself into Luke’s lap if he’s sitting, or under his chin if he’s standing. If it’s a major freak out or a panic attack, he’s a quiet presence. Making sure Luke knows he isn’t alone, until the time when Luke can go to Percy.

If it isn’t severe, Luke will grab Percy by his chin and make him make eye contact with him. Talks to him about absolutely nothing and everything, and waits until Percy is ready to push himself into Luke’s space himself. If it’s bad or a panic attack, Luke leaves the room at Percy’s insistence. Percy is very scared that he might accidentally kill Luke somehow. But when he’s done, he will go find Luke and then they sit together in silence until Percy is ready to move on.

They are both very tactile with each other, no matter the situation.

Percy can't forget the last look Luke gives him before the his blue eyes turned glassy. It stays with him during the cleanup and the subsequent months of grueling labour.

He's reminded of them whenever he sees Annabeth yelling orders across Camp Half-Blood.

He thinks Annabeth knows what's going on because the fragile thing between them had fizzled post-war and they were both oddly relieved about it.

He thinks Clarisse might know because he spies that look on Chris' face whenever he steals a look at her when he thinks she isn’t looking.

Percy never quite understood why Chris would think he was being sneaky. If he could see that from a mile away, then surely Clarisse knows about them too. Children of Ares have heightened senses that could put Big 3 children to shame, and Clarisse is the most Ares child to ever exist in Percy's book.

He remembers that strange look filled with emotions he couldn't quite place and find himself feeling strangely hollow. So, on a particularly bad day, he turns to an unlikely source for answers. Mr. D.

It had started like any other day. He'd been planning on helping out with the building efforts for the other cabins when he overheard them.

Some of the older Apollo kids were talking about the death toll and how many demigods have gone missing. He hadn't noticed any of those things and it felt like Clarisse had run him through with her electric spear.

He started to wonder then, whether he was partially to blame for those demigods who have fallen post-war. He had promised Luke and sworn that he'd bring them all home, but so many have slipped through the cracks when he was busy rebuilding the camp.

He wanders aimlessly and eventually finds himself sitting on the Big House's porch. Looking back, Mr. D probably begrudgingly left his games because he could smell the madness wafting off him. And what was more tempting to the God of Madness separated from his domains than a demigod losing his mind?

Percy remembers, in a fit of vulnerability, asking whether it was normal to feel so hollow after battle, whether it was normal to remember a fallen hero so vividly.

The look on Mr. D's face had been unreadable. The bored lines of his face were no longer slack in his idleness, but taut in his attentiveness. Percy could barely see make out reflection in the god's swirling purple eyes, but he saw enough to recognise that the hunched figure in those pools of madness was none other than himself.

Eventually, Mr. D parted his lips, uncharacteristically solemn. "The soul is a powerful yet fragile thing. Perhaps your soul is simply mourning a lost possibility, and your mind is just scrambling to make sense of it. Dwelling on it will only bog your soul down further. Perhaps, Perseus Jackson, you should focus on the vow instead of the hero."

And so, Percy began to run himself ragged trying to find demigods who have slipped through the cracks during the war, convincing them that they always have a home at Camp Half-Blood.

He notices very quickly that there's a certain sharpness to how he swings his sword after rescuing these demigods from the jaws of pursuing monsters time and time again. He notices sudden bursts of speed even when there's no body of water in sight, but he dismisses them, thinking that it's the Curse of Achilles working overtime.

(He doesn't notice how the demigods who'd fought with Luke widen their eyes with realisation and sadness when he swings his sword. He doesn't notice the campers' nostalgia when he beats them to the ground during training sessions. He doesn't notice how his sword now sings so beautifully when it never did before.)

But he notices how flecks of blue would appear from the corner of his eyes from time to time and how the empty, empty feeling never really goes away.

…

A pair of blue eyes and a witty voice with an undercurrent of anger haunts him whenever he fights. He doesn't remember who they belonged to, but he finds himself yearning for that person anyway.

He finds himself always on the look out for The Voice, perking up with each angry yells and stern teachings. He throws himself into dangerous situations, marvelling at how well he could sneak into monster dens and run circles around them.

He hears The Voice screaming at him in exasperation and laughs and laughs and laughs.

This mystery man was proof that he was someone before his abrupt introduction to the streets, that he hadn't just shown up fully grown like some monster.

There's a feeling of disappointment and betrayal that he couldn't quite place when he meets Jason. He doesn't know why, but he is unsurprised when he learns that he tried to kill him later, enthralled or not.

It is only after Second Great Prophecy that all the pieces fall into place.

He'd been sparring Annabeth when it happened, squashing the uncomfortable feeling in his chest when he saw the wistful look in her eyes. He didn't need more weird emotional turmoil when he was already feeling restless after spending too much time in the same room with Jason.

Don't get him wrong, Jason is a good dude. But the murmurs in his head about how Jason's eyes were the wrong shade of blue, how his hair were the wrong shade of gold, or how his scar isn't supposed to be there, grows louder whenever they spend too much time together.

Part of him wonders whether he's feeling this way because their fathers' rivalry has somehow become a heritable trait. It wouldn't surprise him at this point. He's had to suffer more than his fair share of divine shenanigans that he wouldn't discount that possibility until proven otherwise.

Still, he thinks that Jason would likely sign the adoption papers to be Poseidon's son just to spite Zeus, and sniggers.

Anyway, the beginnings of his dawning despair happened when Nico, who was sparring Jason to the side, was suddenly holding a medieval lightsaber that nearly sliced Jason's arm right off.

Nico had a Stygian sword.

Nico, who was also spending a lot of time with Will recently.

When he saw Nico turning bright red at Jason's eyebrow waggle, his brain supplied helpfully—Will and Nico are soulmates.

Oh.

Percy looks down at his sword, his wrist twisting it in a painfully familiar motion before he sheathes it. He stares.

Oh.

He looks up to meet Annabeth's grey eyes, the sadness and wistfulness in them more pronounced after that display.

Oh, I see.

He couldn't help but recall something he'd heard in passing.

"People gaining mastery over their skills might seem random, but those skills often begin to manifest after one falls in love with their soulmate."

He remembers a silly question that someone had asked just to be contrary.

"What if you only fall in love with your soulmate after you lose them? Do we still learn their skills?"

He'd written it off as a grand joke then, because three-year-old Percy had lived in a world spun of sugar.

How could someone lose their soulmate?

How could someone not fall for their soulmate at first sight?

How could someone not see their soulmate and just know that it was them against the world?

By the time Luke gets possessed, Percy has already figured out it's Kronos' scent all over Luke and he is so unreasonably pissed off by this revelation.

It's like his grandpa has staked his claim on Luke all these years and Percy is, instinctively, just grrrrr not ok with that.

Luke is completely oblivious to this turmoil btw

Luke: *brandishes sword to fight Percy*

Percy: *wrinkles his nose and looks repulsed but also raises his sword*

Luke: ......*sniffs himself??* (I think I showered today???)

Anyways Percy is very much pleased when he eventually covers Luke in his own Alpha scent. (Screw you grandpa, Luke is HIS now muahaha)

There’s a Soda machine in Percy’s dorm. Right next to the vending machine. That’s it. There’s nothing special about it. Just a standard soda machine, that normally Percy would only take notice of if he were feeling thirsty.

What makes this particular soda machine stand out isn’t the machine itself, so much as the guy sitting next to it. He’s just sat there, surrounded by a circle of Diet Coke bottles and looking pretty dejected about that fact. Percy is almost afraid to approach, just in case he’s some kind of Diet Coke demon one of the freshmen summoned.

The guy is staring at the ground, and all Percy can really see of him is the way his hands are buried in his sandy blond hair. His muscular frame was nearly folded over between his knees. He doesn’t seem aware of Percy’s staring, so he feels safe to continue watching.

There are thirteen bottles of Diet Coke.

Percy arriving late to a hang out with Jason and saying “oh, yes, Luke and I got carried away during the training” and all the Greeks are respectfully (even if awkwardly) silent and if any Roman try to correct and say it’s Jason one of the Greeks shut them up.

Kronos being the next topic in class and when someone raises their hand (some unaware Roman) to ask about “Kronos’ vessel” Percy aggressively closes his books and leaves the classroom.

Percy feeling honestly haunted whenever he is with Jason and sees a blond (Octavian) in the corner of his eyes.

Percy locking himself away from everyone in the day of his birthday (Luke’s death) and once the Roman friends tried to throw a party and Percy never opened his dorm door.
