Just a small mod to stop the Go Home -button from cancelling your current interaction. Instead the interaction will be added to the end of the interaction queue.
I started working on this mod before the first patch came out. Back then, aka less than a week ago, pushing the Go Home -button would cancel the whole interaction queue, but after the patch it only cancelled the current one.
So the Paralives team was so close of making this mod obsolete even before I uploaded it. Unfortunately they didn't.
Addressing a few concerns
So, I assume most of you don't know, but there is a bit of drama inside the Paralives community. It's funny because this whole thing is revolving around The Sims 3.
TwistedMexi made his first paywalled "early access" mod called Sims 3 Camera, and I've been working on the same thing as he was. 1. Let's get the "clone" allegation out of the way first.
(Source: TwistedMexi's discord server)
TwistedMexi is accusing me of cloning his mod, but let’s look at the facts. Thankfully, I always use GitHub, so the commit dates are there to prove it.
(2026-05-26 22:27:02 +0200) is a timestamp of the first commit with hash d82ddd909e06833b0f8d5d439ad602d04a4f3e08
(2026-05-27T19:57:44.000+00:00) is a timestamp of the publication date of his Patreon post.
Honestly, I didn't know I could see the future, but ok.
2. The second thing I want to address is that currently there are a lot of awful comments directed at Tmex. PLEASE do not harass other creators.
3. Regarding early access and paywalls: My mods are developed in my spare time as a passion project. I believe in keeping my work accessible to everyone, which is why all of my content will remain completely free, forever. I believe the community should play a role in maintaining projects if the original creator steps away, which is why I always share the source code for my projects Free mods are a pillar of a healthy community, whereas paywalls only lead to gatekeeping and unnecessary drama. My hope is that more creators choose to release their mods in a way that prioritizes community growth and shared resources.
A reblog would be greatly appreciated to help spread this message.
Thanks for reading,
xoxo, Arro Ps. If you want to see a broader discussion on this topic, I recommend this Reddit post that goes way more in-depth than I do. It's a good read.
My thoughts on Paralives
@ohrudi said: Played Paralives for countless hours yesterday and I have to day, it’s different. More like a crossover of Sims and Stardew Valley and very ambitious too! I reported about 20 bugs yesterday 😄 But I have to say, I already like it. It’s not replacing Sims in any way yet for me, cause for that it has way too few content and long term playability, at least for now. But it will make things in the sims bubble better for sure as well. Such a fresh take to the live sim, brings new ideas to the genre. @anitmb Whats your take on paralives? ❤️
I completely agree with you.
I've played Paralives now for 17.7 hours and here are my thoughts.
Do I like it? Absolutely.
Am I having fun? Yes. Way more than I thought.
Will it replace TS3 for me? Not right now, but... I do see it's potential of one day doing so. I really like the art style, the open world, the hints of things to come like gardening, maybe businesses (hopefully Para owned), laundry and so much more. I also like that it has TS2 style ageing from the start, because rotational play is my things.
But the fun I'm having in Paralives is different from the fun I'm having in TS3.
Paralives fun is more - exploring a new thing - kind of fun. I'm only playing one household, Hebert and Solene, because I'm assuming that with updates I'll have to move them multiple times before the game is done. Also the town they are now living in, is not a town I want to have as my "forever town". So I'll do a legacy with this one family and let them have 1-2 kids and keep the kids in the household so when at some point I'll need to restart the town (or move to a new one) I can take the whole household with me.
TS3 fun on the other hand is more storytelling and immersive kind of fun. I started TS3 once during the week but I wasn't feeling it and went back to Paralives. That made me think about am I really done with TS3? So today I decided to play TS3 and see how it feels and ended up spending the whole day playing a survival game with the newly single Olivia Goth who had just enough funds to build a 3x3 shack on an empty lot after her divorce. I honestly wasn't expecting to fall in a deep TS3 gaming session, but it was a good reminder of why I'm not ready to switch yet.
The other thing that I noticed was that when I was playing Olivia and she started her new life, I was immediately getting story ideas and seeing her future goals and kind of thinking about what her life will be when she's an elder and looking back. With Hebert and Solene on the other hand, I don't see past the present. They are doing stuff, but there is no story.
The one thing I know I'm done with in TS3 is modding. Even thought there is one more tiny mod I've been wanting to do for years and there are a few bugs I would like to fix in my old mods, just the thought of having to set up the modding environment is a big no. That's why it was so refreshing to mod for Paralives, because you can do it all in game. Just go to the mod section, make a new one and start exploring the interactions and all the things the game lets you edit.
So yes, I am really enjoying the game, but I'm also not ready to give up TS3 yet. Currently Paralives can't fully give me the type of gameplay that I want to play. But who knows, maybe in a year or two, when I'll finally cave in and buy a new gaming computer, Paralives might be good enough that I will switch to it fully.
The happy couple.
Fulfill your dream of becoming the town's repairman by earning money when fixing vandalized objects.
This mod changes two things in the game
Removes the restriction that you have to have 20P to fix vandalized items.
Gives your sims 20P for fixing vandalized items.

While everybody else are making their good looking Para's here I am recreating Chester Hebert. My middle age vibing YA Para who looks like he already has two divorces under his belt.
His TS3 counterpart.
And can I say the no roof thing is giving me TS2 nostalgia before we got indoor roofs in the game.
Hebert's starter home. It might or might not have taken me an hour or so to build this because I can't still navigate in this game.
And I do apology for the UI bits. I was taking photos in game and not realizing it was also capture the UI.
Appreciating Hebert's back fat <3
And yes, that is his pajamas. And no, I do not know why he didn't change out of them when he went out.
Vandalizing because why not. It's not like are consequences in this game.
Hebert spend most of his day exploring the town and collecting stuff. Could he also get a job? Yes. Will he? No, because we are too busy for such things.
Ending the day with a good sob in the shower because even though there is a coffee machine in the game, there is no coffee :/
Also, the washing machine is deco as well :(
Casually playing TS3 and wondering will this be the last weekend I play this game, or will Paralives be "not just there yet", so I'll keep on going in here?
Part of me is so ready for a new "Sims" game and part of me wants to keep on with TS3, because I've been enjoying this world so much.
I know that getting a new game will not magically uninstall the other, but I also know I'm a one game woman and even having multiple hood saves in TS3 is a bit pushing it.

Just some random shots from Sunset Valley.
Bella is the only sim who's makeover included some face reshaping, because I do not like the face EA gave her. I'm not sure she's still "right" but at least she is better.
North Bend - a Build a City Challenge
I can't get over how pretty North Bend by @eisfee is, which is why when I got the urge to start another Build a City Challenge, this is where I ended up.
Even thought I don't like RH buildings in my custom hoods this time around I decided to use some. So I added the City Hall from Moonlight Falls and created the uni district. The uni is 100% just for atmosphere as my sims use the Attend University Online -mod to get their degrees.
But I like how the uni RH buildings look and it was a good way to fill those two huge lots, that otherwise I would not know what to do with.
Even though a "real" BACC -hood should be started with zero community lots the one thing I've always missed in my previous attempts were lots for my sims to socialize in. So this time around I decided to start the hood with two owned lots. The bar and the diner. Both lots are bare minimum lots and both will be improved upon as the owners earn more money.
The town market is not owned by anybody, but I do like how those TS4 stalls look. The Strange Town stall is for the consignment register, the white stall is for the book register and the one in the middle is Robert Grim's produce stand. Maybe one day another sim will occupy the gardening stall, but for now it's empty.
And lastly, there is the (slightly edited) train station. This lot will also operate as a town meeting place. Currently it's empty.
Populating the hood
Before I started playing in SV, I did have a few failed attempts of getting back into TS3. There was at least two unsuccessful überhood attempts, a few false starts in Hylewood (both the original and the extended), and even one attempt in Industrial Island.
The only consistent element in these attempts was that I wanted to start a legacy with Robert Grim. But as much as I enjoyed playing his house, everything else was not clicking. It wasn't until I moved Robert to SV, remembered how much I liked Erin Kennedy and had so much fun playing with Gobias Koffi (the only other SV sim besides Erin that I've always liked), that I started thinking about the other EA sims that I do like but always felt I never get to play enough because I wasn't playing their hoods.
So instead of creating custom families, I thought I might as well populate the hood with my favorite EA families.
The households
Grim
Bayless
Pancakes (only Bob because I can't stand his wife)
The Goth of Moonlight Falls (minus Helen Hall).
And finally Gobias Koffi.
Who's is currently having a secret affair with the (de-elderfied) Samuel Goth.
Nobody is exactly sure whey Christopher Steel decided to visit the Goth household. I mean he had met Gunther once, so I guess that's enough.
Taking advantage of the situation, Cornelia thought this would be a good opportunity for her sister to meet new people.
A sentiment Agnes didn't really appreciate.
Being the socially awkward sims he is, Christopher couldn't comprehend why Cornelia wasn't thrilled to get a hug from a complete stranger.
Nor why Agnes refused his flowers.
After this Cornelia had enough and kicked him out of the house.
Devastated by the death of her husband, Agnes decided to accept her sister's request to move in with her and her family.
Even though the newly established Sunset Valley university district is still a bit bare, Agnes enrolled in uni to hopefully one day start her career as an Art Appraiser.
Gunther and Cornelia's marriage is still going strong. Gunther is only a few days from being an elder and Cornelia is not far behind.
Renovating Sunset Valley.
Maybe it's the European (or the poor person) in me but I always felt EA's version of a working class family house is my version of a mansion. So one of the things I've been doing in SV is normalizing the houses, and by normalizing I mean deleting all but the first floor to make the houses more compact.
Also this way I get to keep the original floorplan, and hopefully keep some of SV's original building base.
Unfortunately there is no lot adjuster for TS3 because if there was, I would also reduce the lot sizes, to make the neighborhoods denser.

Part of me has always had a soft spot for the Clavell family. For a family that feels so family oriented and loving, I have no idea how they managed to screw up parenting so badly that they end up with a son like Xander.
Both Buster and Bessie want to fix their relationship with their son, so there is hope, even though Xander is not really meeting them half way in any way or form.
Anyhow, after some house renovating and makeovers here is Bessie playing for tips. Unfortunately for her I've downloaded a mod that disable sims dropping (God Damn) everything just to watch sims perform which also means they no longer give tips.
But not getting tips is a small price to pay because trust me when I say that this one mod makes a huge different how much fun bars are.

Thanks guys but I don't honestly know how back I still am. I've been playing both TS2 and TS3 on/off for the past few years but unfortunately neither excites me the way they used to. Currently I am having some fun playing in Sunset Valley, a town I usually dislike so much, but the characters are fun and I have plans of moonlightfallsifying it to make it a bit darker and gloomier.
Mostly I think I'm currently waiting for Paralives to come out. Hopefully that will get my gaming enthusiasm up, regardless which game I end up playing.
authorssd said: Ahhh, this was me when editing EA lots and houses with the base game juice bars and adding in the ones from Late Night instead. Thankfully the resort builder in Island Paradise had a base game bar and Late Night bar variant in their build mode, but having to do it manually for everything else was such a pain.
Glad to know I'm not the only one who feels this.
