I realize now that I have to let you go. And no I don’t mean until we speak again or share a laugh, I mean for good. there were days where I felt the happiest a person could ever feel, but there were other days where it would hurt so bad that I could feel the pain in my chest. you’ve shown me a part of life that I’ve never seen, and I wouldn’t take it back for the world. you’ve shown me a love that I’ve never experienced, and although it almost destroyed me, it was the most beautiful tragedy. I love you more than words can describe, but you can’t give me what I need, and you can’t be what you need for you own well being. maybe one day in the future we’ll cross paths and you’ll be better and I’ll be better & we can fall back into what once was, but right now, I have to let you go, and it will be the hardest thing I will ever have to do.

Because saving the people you love isn’t stupid. It isn’t even a choice.
