The joke doesn't feel stale. I genuinely laugh in every episode. And if you are a boy, you probably can relate to some dumb stuff their doing

The bad

Doesn't really have a goal, or chara development. It's purely comedy

the story about handa a young caligrapher. He just got in some scandal because punching a chairman of an exhibit. So his parent ask him to live in a small village to calm down.

The good

i like the story, handa is a character who reach where he was by hard working, The villager character really contrast Handa character, Handa is a perfectionist and hardworking person, while the villager live a normal and relax life.

You also can see the perspective of what is like to live in the village, i gotta say what make the anime look more like village is not the background but what the character doing, and what the activities their doing.

The bad

I can’t really point out the bad aspect, but the anime doesn’t really have something overexciting like a big goal or someting. It’s just someting you watch to relax.

i’m gonna give it an 8

Short summary

the story about a single dad his wife just died recently and he left with the task of taking care of her. They eat bento from convinience store everyday because her dad can’t cook. One day the daughter want to eat something that her mother cook, but he can’t do that since her mother already gone. And right there he meet a highschool girl name kotori, together they learn how to cook.

The good

the story is heartwarming, it show you a glimpse of living without a mother. There are time that make you completely sympathize with the dad.

The recipe quite precise to follow, so if you interested i think you can try it. They show the process slowly, and it comes from the perpective of the character who can’t cook. So you can see where the difficult part.

One of the thing i amaze is, how realistic is the daugther movement and reaction of all thing. There are time of how she throw a tantrum, or hard to handle.

The bad

The bad for me is come from the good point. They show how kid react quite realistic, thats what make me annoyed. Sometime when the daughter throwing tantrum, it make me uncomfortable

i’m gonna give it an 8

Short summary

The main character named otonashi found himself in the afterlife without a single memory why he's dead. Everyone who dies goes to school and life their afterlife like a highschooler. But there a group who think that the world is unfair and want to fight god, the group lead by a girl named yurippe. Yurippe ask otonashi to join their cause to find god.

The good

The concept of what kind of world is afterlife is interesting, there some rule in the afterlife that make it more interesting. For example you can't die, so if you find yourself dead, you will revive but of course the concept of pain is still there

The music is amazing, there this band name girl dead monster. I really love their song, the animation and their movement is amazing. The music and their movement sync together which make it more amazing.

The story quite serious and sad, but when they lay out a joke. I can't help but laugh

The bad

The anime feel rushed. It can be better if the anime have proper preparation for the ending. But it's not

I'm gonna give it 9

Short summary

The story about a theme park name amagi brilliant park, they used to have a lot of customer but not anymore. The theme park build on the concept of gathering anima(basically like mana), anims gathered by the happiness of people who go there. So the hero named Kaniya seiya detined to restore the park to it's glory state before the park got closed down.

The good

The theme itseld quite unique, an anime about theme park. It's not something you see everyday

A lot of character is design as a mascot. So there a goat, cat , and mouse. They appear as a mascot costume but it's just their normal body.

The bad

Since it's kyoani, there 1 episode which doesn't really affect the plot. Just one episode which doesn't feel necessary. There some joke that really overdone, one of the example is the hero and one of the mascot fight, and isuzu one of the heroine break the fight by shooting them. It happen regularly and make the joke feel stale

Conclusion

I give it 8.5

Short summary :

The hero name simon with kamina his big brother figure who want to go to the surface. But doing so is forbidden, cause if you do. You will be hunt by beastmen. A beast who control big mecha. Suddenly they encounter a robot when digging the underground. They used it together to fight the beastmen and exploring the surface world

The good

The mecha aspect is interesting,it has the abilities to combine with other mecha. This make the possibility of the variation quite endless.

The main hero is you ussual scaredy cat but try to be brave, your tipically shounen character. But you can't help but cheered as the main hero try finish the bad guy with his finishing move

There some scene that really amazing even if you compared the quality with today anime, it still hold up.

The bad

So, the creator of gurren lagan is trigger. If you watch 2 other trigger series you know where i'm going with. Somehow it all end with alien invasion

Conclusion :

I'm gonna give it 8/10

The second arc of the anime ruin it. If the anime end by the first arc i will give it 9

short summary : about a girl who can’t refuse other people request

Good part :

the story simple but quite enjoyable. The title explain it all, about a girl name komi who can’t refuse people request.  the anime run time quite short, around 3 minute, but you can still enjoy it

Bad part

some part feel rushed because of the short run time

short summary :

The story about a little girl and a robot name reg. Riko mother is one of the best explorer of the abyss a giant hole that goes to the underground. She want to be like her mother, a white whistle. There a reason why abyss become such a mystery, its because the danger inside each layer. If you go the deeper, the nature of the beast and enviroment get more dangerous.

Good part :

I like the mystery aspect, the story of an abyss itself make you wonder, what inside of it. The world building aspect is amazing, each layer has it's own unique enviroment and unique creature. The creature has it's own habit, it make you think it's really is an animal. For an example there a spider who wont leave its teritory because its habit

The music is amazing, when i listen to the soundtrack i can tell which scene it is from. I know if you talk about sound in anime you think about yuki kajiura or sawano but the music Kevin penkin make is also amazing.

Bad part

I personally felt the artstyle doesn't the brutallity of the anime. So i kinda catch off guard.

Conclusion:

I’m gonna give it 9/10

short summary :

In a world where a foxy girl name retsuko work as a accountant, where stress build up because of crappy bosses. The only way she can relieve her stress is to scream it through death metal in a karaoke.

Good part :

The character feel relatable, the animal they represent somehow feel fit perfectly to describe certain type of person. As an example the boss of retsuko is a pig, fit perfectly for an asshole character.

One of my favorite thing is the character has quite a depth. It's one thing to write a character as someone to hate, but what hard is to make that character understood of their side of view point. Like that pig boss, yes he's quite an asshole but there's time where he give a useful advice to retsuko. Which is something that i didn't expect.

The anime feel unique, it's not a musical but they have some song in them. A lot of them is when retsuko screaming in anger and some side character sometime rap of their anger.

The bad part :

There some character that make you think. , "wow that's really convinient".

Conclusion:

I’m gonna give it 9/10

short summary : the story begin with 2 girl name chito and yuuri exploring a tunnel, just 2 of them with their motorbike. They exploring the world to search for another living being. Sometime they meet someone, sharing some story and helping each other.

Good part :

The character compliment each other. Chito is a bookworm and brainy type. While Yuuri is carefree and do more muscle labor. They have a good chemistry in the story.

The story doesn't tell you what happen to world they in. But because of their surrounding you can feel the story building up. It feel unique, the background look sad and beautiful at the same time

I can feel the sense of journey that Chito and Yuuri doing. They just rode their motorcycle, and find new thing.

The bad part :

When the anime reach arround 8th episode. There somekind of alien creature. It feels out of the place. And the anime and manga ending is different. Because the anime reach 3/4 of the manga. So if you want to know the ending, read the manga.

Conclusion:

I’m gonna give it 8/10

If there no alien thingy i would give it a 9, its just felt out of the place. The world building feels really unique. The opening and ending is catchy and cute. If you give it a go, read the manga too. The manga just felt dear to me so you should check it (But fair warning, there some scene that just broke me, and sometime space out thinking about it. So if you’re not into something like that, just turn arround)

Note : the opening easily one of my favorite but the dab scene kinda ruin it....

short summary :

The story revolve arround camping in the winter. The story start with a girl name shimarin who like to camp alone.  Then come Nadeshiko a girl who ride her bicycle to see fuji mountain, because it’s a long trip she become tired and sleep in a bench near restroom. When she awake she find herself in the dark and she’s too scared to go home alone, so Shimarin help her by a little bit by giving her food and finally lend her a phone to call home. From that experience, Nadeshiko want to try camping and starting lo like it.

Good part :

The anime did a good job of capturing the scenery, it looks beatiful, its totally captured the charm of camping. The music combine with the scenery make you feel relax.

The food itself look delicious. Sometime, in a food anime they go beyond complicated ingredient and technique to show off their skill. But sometime it’s best to just keep it simple.

They did a good job of telling some trivia about camping, like there’s this trivia about how to make firecamp. They use  pine cone as a catalyst because it’s easy to burn

The bad part :

It;s your typical anime where there’s only a highschool girl in the anime( and some teacher i guess). It’s not that bad, but it feel overdone at this point.

Conclusion:

I’m gonna give it 8/10

hello, sorry for taking break unnotice. Just have some stuff to do and im quite busy. I’ll be back in 2 week or so. Meanwhile i will try new stuff when i’m coming back. I;m aiming to do shotgun review of anime. Since everyone on quarantine.
