It’s difficult not to feel powerless in situations like this, but I’d like to remind everyone that you can contact members of Congress, whether that be your representatives or your senators, to voice your opinion. Senate votes on the DHS funding bill this week so please consider calling your senators as soon as possible. There are scripts online if you’re not sure what to say.

This is not the time to sit on the sidelines. Be vocal. This administration is counting on “nice” people to stay silent and watch as ICE commits excessive and revolting brutality.
