Farewell to Motion Pictures - さらば映画よ (1968) Read the play here. I am happy to finally announce Akenjo's 6th translation project is now complete and available to read! This time, I am offering the english translation of a stage play that was unfortunately not recorded, so the full annotated text is available in english! Farewell to Motion Pictures is a play split in two independent acts. "Fan" centers around two middle aged gay men who exchange philosophical ideas of identity and the way we sublime ourselves into others and into cinema. "Star" is about a middle-aged woman who always dreamed of becoming an actress and her inner world of illusions. If you're a Psycho-Pass fan, this is the play mentioned in season 1, episode 5. I hope you enjoy this play as much as I did, and I apologize for the delay.

My completed collection of the serial Underground Theatre (地下演劇) which documented Tenjo Sajiki's activities as well as other underground theatre endeavors of the time. It was edited by Terayama and his collaborator Akuta in the 1970s.

A film written, filmed, and pre-edited in under 2 months following the death of Abe Shinzo about the life of his murderer, Yamagami Tetsuya, so that it could be screened during Abe's controversial state funeral. In the end, Adachi seems to offer the man a second chance at a better life, or perhaps an opportunity at redemption, by having him emerge out of the volcanic hills of Osorezan and wander off to the shores of lake Usori. This volcanic site located in northern Aomori is famously thought to be a gateway to the underworld, often depicted in the works of Terayama Shuji among others.

Kool4plus1 has an audio recording of Galatia, which I believe is non-official and the most complete recording of one of their plays you can get.
