Fucking hell these ‘commission’ asks are really getting annoying

Just a heads up for anyone, theyre not people asking for commissions theyre scams. A person wanting to commission would probably not ask within a minute of me posting art, would probably follow me, would probably actually like my art, would have been following me for a while and would probably just dm you straight away

That realization also led the filmmaking team to divide the character of Cobra Bubbles, Lilo's social worker in the animated film, into a CIA agent of the same name (Courtney B. Vance) and the new role of Mrs. Kekoa (Tia Carrere). "If the dramatic stakes of Lilo is that she's going to get separated from her sister, then you need a person who actually services those stakes in a credible way," Fleischer Camp says. "You can get away with that being Cobra Bubbles in an animated film — a 6-foot-5 huge dude with 'Cobra' tattooed on his knuckles is somehow a social worker in that world."

It's not just, like, blatantly racist to take that out of his character, but it's also making the film more shallow in opposition to the themes of the franchise. The point of Lilo & Stitch is that there's the potential for good in everything and everyone. The leads are seen as inherently troublemakers by society because one's a social misfit (and arguably neuroatypical) and the other one's a furry xenomorph, but ultimately their better aspects shine through to everyone. Jumba and Pleakley are initially threats but they become mentoring figures to the family. The entire TV series focused around Lilo finding places in society for all of Jumba's previous genetic experiments so they aren't written off as threats to society. Cobra Bubbles is operating in that same milieu.

Fearmongering bullshit, but it's fearmongering bullshit that seems to be taking advantage of the recent spotlight series in order to trick authors into deleting their fics.

Signs of Heat Exhaustion:

Feeling faint or dizzy

Excessive sweating

Cool, pale, clammy skin

Nausea or Vomiting

Rapid, weak pulse

Muscle cramps

Weakness and fatigue

Signs of Heat Stroke

THROBBING headache

NO sweating

Body Temperature is above 103 Fahrenheit/39.4 Celsius; look for red, hot, and/or dry skin

Nausea or Vomiting

Rapid, STRONG pulse

May LOSE CONSCIOUSNESS

Slurred speech

Possible hallucinations or otherwise altered mental state

Possible confusion, agitation, and/or aggravation

If someone is showing signs of Heat Exhaustion, do the following:

Move the person out of the heat and into a shaded, cool place, ideally somewhere that is air-conditioned if possible!

Slowly lay the person down and raise the legs and feet slightly.

Assist in removing excess layers of clothing, as well as anything that is tight and/or heavy.

Apply cool compresses to the neck, armpits, groin, wrists, and forehead.

Have them sip chilled water, a sports drink with electrolytes, or any non-alcoholic, non-caffeinated drink available

Continue to lower body temperature with cool water compresses and fanning

Monitor carefully

If symptoms do not improve, contact Emergency Services immediately!

If someone is showing signs of Heat Stroke, call Emergency Services immediately, then begin applying first aid as you would with Heat Exhaustion.
